May Monthly Collection

[item=Eagle Eye: Possibilities]

It seems like May\'s monthly collection is a time capsule to another age, and what dark and scary days they were! It was the time of the hammer. Portable monstrosities and girls named after spices roamed freely, and some infection called the Macarena swept the globe- it\'s a miracle that anyone escaped alive.

Note: The Dreamy Heartthrob Poster and TV Hotties Calendar transform into each other.

It's weird... I was there for the nineties, but at the same time I wasn't. I was just so young, so I remember some of the shows and toys, but... it all feels like it was in some past life that happened before I started really being me.

OMG, 90s. Still the most favoritest time of my life. Because I was a kid and everything was chill and cool and awesome. This collection is awesome. Ren and Stimpy, Ickis from Ahh! Real Monsters. TMNT and Spice Girls, which I still love to this day. And the background... totally my room from the 90s. XD However, I have no idea who the hairstyles belong to... drawing a huge blank and I probably know exactly who they belong to, too. I love Subeta! Also, this comment was far too long, but ... excited!

And the art is great, but I don't see anything I have to have. /will skip this month Though I do love all the references in the background. :)

Is the Chuckle me Charlie a reference to the Cabbage patch kids when EVERYONE had to had one? I read some where that there was a black market for them.

Chuckle Me Charlie=Tickle Me Elmo?

They were really popular when I was in middle school, never quite figured out why, but all the kids in my middle school used to bring theirs to school until it annoyed the teachers and they made them stop. XD

Ahh the Nineties. When Saturday morning cartoons were worth getting up for...

Speaking of which, I was in Hot Topic the other night with my best friend and they were selling seasons of AHH Real Monsters, Rocko's Modern Life, and Angry Beavers. We laughed so hard.

squints... Now that I look at it it again it does look an awful lot like James Van Der Beek. XD

I kind of went with the nearest blond nineties tv person I remembered which was Doogie even if he was late 80s through early nineties.
