Just popped in to leave an update. I had that Open Mri this past Friday. Received a call from the Oncologists Nurse today. I had just walked thru the front door from an appt. to get cortisone shot in my knee and the phone was ringing. I was told that they read the film and I have **"Cerebral Venous Sinus Thrombosis Clot." (CVST) ** I found out that the clot stops the blood from draining properly in your brain. It causes all sorts of problems. Most of them I have been specifically detailing in my complaints to every Dr. I see, with NO ONE listening to me or acting on my info. It was with my insistence that I got this MRI. I was fed up with no one hearing me. It was time to take control of the wheel and make the Drs work for me.

The nurse was practically yelling into the phone repeatedly, GET TO THE ER, GET TO THE ER. The questions I asked went unanswered once again. I asked what does this mean exactly. Can I die from this? Is this whats causing all of my mini TIA's, my hearing loss, my pounding head, my failing eyesight?? She couldnt tell me anything. I asked what was the plan. She said I have to give myself 2 needles of blood thinner daily for the next 2 weeks, then another God awful open MRI to see what effect it had on the clot. I can, at any time go into a full blown stroke but as it stands now, Im just experiencing the mouth mini stroke, like i did back during brain cancer. I hung the phone up after she promised that the dr. herself, was going to call me first thing tomorrow morning. I jumped into the safety of my bed, pulled open my laptop and researched. When the Dr. calls, shes going to hear a change in plans. I want a top neurosurgeon to read my films, make a plan and we are going to compare it to my oncologists plan. I feel I should be inside of the hospital in a real room, away from the malpractice issues I have lived thru from the ER drs. They need to give me carte blanche to anyone and everything I need to get this under control. I have excellent insurance and now is the time to abuse the hell out of it. My oncologist never remembers that I am limited in my mobility and she fails to remember my aphobias. NO way will I ever give myself a needle willingly since the sheer visual of them causes me trauma. Same with small tight places. I know for a fact they can charge my insurance and send a visiting nurse twice a day to give me those shots, or like I said - Book me a room at the Hotel Christiana Hospital!! lol

Thanks for letting me write this long. Yes Im scared. Mainly because I have absolutely NO ONE to help me get this done or go thru this with me. I have to stay alert and I have to monitor everyone and document everything. So, its just gonna be me facing this with the help of my faithful supreme force and Savior, Jesus Christ, God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. I feel hopeful and ready.

go to dashboard and look at the box top right on that page, than click on bookmarks and it takes you to the page you can delete them.
