I really did enjoy watching Outlander, and especially the prequel on Max. Though, ofc, the books are better.. and I don't think I'd be able to watch the show without the books because I was constantly like "wait is this..." like, they don't really explain much! Though Alex laughed at me because he said he could always spot a sex scene because I'd be blushing and staring at my bookshelf ahahhaa.
I loveee Pern, and I love the idea of Hitchhikers Guide but I just can't get through it in book form. I've tried a few times, but my brain always wanders too much.
EDIT: oooh wait, I was thinking Starz. I watch a lot of Food Network on Max though, that's what I watch while I'm questing generally :P
Kat, I'm glad to hear that's an ex. Sounds like an unpleasant atmosphere, to put it mildly!
And yeees the Hitchhikers Guide is what Douglas Adams is known for! His writing is not difficult, but it's dense. A wandering mind will definitely hinder a read, so that makes sense to me, Mieke.

Husband asked me to pick up a roasted chicken on my way for dinner, so I'll make a little detour. And I'll also throw my vote letter for the local elections in the mailbox. Civic duty, done!
Could have done that in the morning but I spaced out, so I carried my vote letter to the office instead, hah.
Ooooh, I love a roasted chicken... though when I pick one up from the store we tend to just.. stand around the table like cave people and rip it apart with our hands. Shameful little secret haha.
Oh man, I tend to carry letters around with me all the time, I'm VERY bad about just putting them into the mailbox :P
Yes, like, it's an easy read, but it does tend to jump a bit. honestly, it's too much like living in my brain, I think. :P
Sometimes the lack of noise or tension will trigger a headache. At least for me. I'll be fine all day at school, get into my car and bam. Headache. Well honestly I probably had the headache before and just was able to finally notice it in the calmer atmosphere lol
Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy? I wanted to watch that movie. Never did. It's a book? Definitely looking. I can usually get into even heavy/dense reading if it's something I like!!
We watched the movie (Alex had read the book in HS) and that couldn't keep my attention, either haha. Though sometimes I do have the fish song stuck in my head..
I'm excited to get paid but don't especially want to go back to work tomorrow :P
Getting paid helps for sure I get to stay home all week! Yaaaay! And I'm being too lazy again instead of doing the twenty things I want to get done around the house and yard again.
I really need to get tires, my front ones are.. bad bad.

Also, in a different complaint. Why is it so hard to get the kid to do the damned dishes ffs. or her laundry. Like.. WHYYYYYYY.
Speaking of tires. Just called Kost, $119 all in, so $240. Have an appointment on Friday after work. Don't especially have the money but I'll make it work.
I should probably check mine before driving to NC in April...
I can join the kid complaint train if you'd like hahaha because I have no idea why it's so hard to get them to do things. Especially when they agreed to do them AND chose the things they'd do!!!!

I'm just over it. I'm almost ready for her to go away to school next year :P (Though I know I'll miss her.. AND I'll definitely miss NOT doing the dishes :P)
I just went and had a nice long hot shower. In the middle of the day LOL It was weird. But nice. Normally I shower first thing in the morning before I get ready for work.
I feel you!! LIke, you SAID you would vacuum. And there is dog hair EVERYWHERE and DIRT! And you said you'd take the trash out and TO THE DUMP. Guess what? The trash can is full, it smells and the outside trash cans are full too. WHY do I have to tell you to take the trash out/off?? Don't you have EYEBALLS?
I vaccumed last. Because I invited the neighbor over and the room was nasty and I wasn't letting her walk into that.

I normally shower in the afternoon actually, 1:45-2 is generally my time.. because everyone else is gone and I know I'm not going to fight for it :P
Yeah, it would have been nice to have it up over the long weekend :(
I know they've been edging away from starting things on ACTUAL holidays - but like, Valentines Day is literally the MIDDLE OF THE MONTH. And the event is supposed to start "Mid-February". I dislike when a holiday blends into two different months. Keep it in one please. With ENOUGH time. Eh. Hopefuly later today or tomorrow it will start.
I think it would be fun if they just did month long holiday events - like Luminaire lol I know that one is different because its not a lot of items going out all the time. But like - I wouldn't mind getting fewer masq or lounge tokens per time or fewer hearts if I knew I had all month to get them. And the way they've been adding in older items, like for Morostide? Well if I had all month to get the new ones PLUS older ones varied in, well I'd be thrilled. There are so many new players who need a LOT of currency to get all the OLD items anyway I'm sure!
I've also noticed we're still getting new years tokens on kumos. Which were supposed to stop at the end of January.... so like, did all the people running the site disappear in the past month? :P
Yeah.. it would be kind of nice to have gotten it like.. at the beginning of the month? And especially for Survival because SOME PEOPLE (not me tho :P) really love to collect skins LOL.
raises hand Me. Yes Me. Even tho I never wear them. Why did I decide to collect skins? I have no idea. Just for something to collect I guess? I had ran out of other things I could achieve or something. Easy things anyway. Getting a few skins a year didnt' seem like a bad idea LOL I tried the zapper at morostide but I don't like the randomness of it, but I'm not about to pay out huge for the guarantee though.
The only one I really wanted to collect again was love bug from like.. the first one? I did enjoy that one :P

Yeah. At first I was just like, I'll get the really cute ones. Then I was like, well if I am getting any of them, why not just get all of them. Like I said, I won't wear them LOL Except during survival - and then I'm too busy getting NEW ones to wear the old ones!
yay for plushie buying!! I'm almost done on here - have Drills left to do and thats it. Then I guess I'll go work on lesson plans or something since I basically finished the powerpoint project earlier. Tomorrow is soon enough to work on the other activity.

I still hate him.
And 3 days of his quests didn't do anything but lose me money but..

Awww. Its so random with him. Like I am still in shock that day I got those three super pricey items. But most days I just get a couple decent ones.
