Oh heck yes. Lagmonster galore today. I gave up for a while and went and mowed the lawn. Got out of my head. Because Shane and his drama are up and active again... He told me a couple days ago, he probably WASNT going to come home. Then he called yesterday, yes he WILL be home, Saturday morning. So I decided NOT to go to the store, I'd go when I took him tomorrow as he normally has to go to the store too, why make two trips! Then he never calls me....so I call him and he texts me back that some FRIEND is picking him up at the truck stop.

SO I relaxed for a while.... BUT then he just called me now, and apparently Anna and HER boyfriend are making threats to come whip his a$$, so he canceled his HOTEL (YES OMG THE IDIOT IS SPENDING MORE MONEY HE SHOULD NOT BE! AGAIN!) and coming to the house, so if they DO come up, he can call the police on them for tresspassing and threatening him sigh Great. Bring the drama right to my door. Honestly tho, I would prefer him here in that situation, because they'd be less likely to do it at MY house, and more likely at a hotel. But why they want to at all is beyond me. LET IT ALL GO. You are getting a divorce, pay for the damn thing or dont (Because she keeps telling him she needs more fees more fees more fees paid....no, there should NOT be that many fees. We did it for LESS thant $500 so I don't know what idiocy you are doing, but it doesn't need to cost that much and if you chose that way, you pay it!) And then stay the frick away from each other, in person and online as well! OMG enough already!!

[edit] 230pm Shane got here. And asked me what I would do if they show up. Because they were threatening both him and this girl he is with today.... ON HER PHONE because .... GUESS WHAT??? OF ALL THINGS This girl - is the boyfriends ex. The mother of his child/dren. O M G WHY? WHY MORE DRAMA???

What am I going to do if they come here? Tell Shane to keep his butt INSIDE and I will talk. And if they don't leave when I ask them to, then yes. I will call the police and that will be the end.

On another note - I found the working weed spray bottle, sprayed until it was empty and then refilled it with the even older liquid from the non-working spray bottle. And continued spraying. Guess we will find out if the weed spray is still effective hahaha. It was half the porch and half the house. (I started in the back at the dog pen, worked my way around one side of the house to the front, did the front/porch and then worked my way back down the other side to the dog pen again).

Oh wow! You're living a soap opera with Shane there it sounds like. Oh dear. Hopefully all of these hotheads will calm themselves instead of escalating, because - there's really no point, just like you say. Get the divorce over with and move on, would be the best course of action - but, well. When people are in their feelings things do become more complicated.

Soap opera indeed. The idiotic Anna and her boyfriend drove past my house, snapping pictures and sending them to the girl. So Shane called the police department out here. I've had THREE cop cars PLUS idiot Anna and her idiot boyfriend who've been making threats, in my driveway for the past 45minutes. Because oh yes. They pulled in the driveway right before the police did or something. what luck. Now they have a trespassing warning, and aren't supposed to come back on the property or they'll get arrested. Because Shane and the girl were able to show the threats on the phone as well to the police.

I told Shane there will be no more girls at my house. They can drive up, to drop him off or pick him up, but are not to stay. That is the only way I can think to keep drama away. Other than not allowing HIM to be here either. And as his momma, I can't do that...I've always wanted to be a place for my kids to come back home to if they need it. How can I tell him he has no place to live/stay??? So from now on, its him and ONLY him allowed here. (I had previously already told him no overnights, but they could hang out in the room or yard....well nope. Not now!) I am now really unsure if I need to get freaking cameras for my house or what, if this type of crap is going to go on with these idiots.

Yeah, that's a good question, with the cameras... generally I do hope you don't have to deal with more of this drama so I would hope it's not necessary. But if it would make you feel more comfortable about potential new drama, it's worth it in any case!

Alternatively maybe you can have Shane and Anna get into the same get along shirt like fighting siblings until they have their issues figured out :P (that's a joke, unfortunately they're not children anymore!)

And I totally understand wanting to offer your kids a space. It's super nice to have that reassurance that there's a place one can go back to if things go wrong.

I talked to Shane to figure out WHY they pulled into the driveway at all (Like I was really surprised they were stupid enough to do that, and so glad the timing was just right with the cops!!) Maybe that knocked some sense into their heads.

Apparently, they decided to drop the kid off here with his mom. BUT - here is what kills me - Anna had messaged Shane earlier, saying she needed someone to come pick up the "rest of your junk" and so he asked me to do it, I said I could this morning (sunday) and he told her that I would come get it - and she wrote back that we would have to meet at the Thomaston police station because she didn't want him or me on her property. Ok, fine whatever. (and mind you, she's dropped crap off here THREE times, and I went over once already to pick stuff up - how much more could he have? PLUS we've both already given up on getting anything else back - We do know for a fact she still has the house key, some of his movies and his die-cast cars, plus HE paid for the washer/dryer and grill that are still there because they are too big for us to move with my car). Then, when they dropped the kid off, the dude got out of the car and into Shanes face yelling about how he doesn't want Shane anywhere near his kid.

So please. PLEASE. Explain to me.

1. You said you don't want US on YOUR property - but you felt free to come onto MINE???
2. You don't want your kid near my son - but you literally came to where he lives to drop your kid off ???? EXPLAIN IT TO ME??? OMG Where are these peoples brains??? They have none!! NONE!

I AM changing the front door locks (knob and deadbolt, tho she only has the knob key). I don't know if I can just pick up a camera at walmart? I don't want a ring doorbell, if I do it, I want like a security camera attached to the porch pointed out at the driveway.

Doing a quick google, Walmart should have options. Worth a look in your local store! And I agree with security camera being preferable over ring doorbell, I think a security camera will do a better job.

I found an inexpensive indoor/outdoor camera. So I got it. It requires a service fee for online storage, but its only like $4 a month for that, or I can pay a whole year. I get the first 30 days free. (Or I can buy an SD card....) It seems easy to mount. I did have to buy an outdoor extension cord so I can plug it in....But they didn't have solar power or battery power/chargable at walmart for a decent price....and I wasn't going to get an expensive one. Not sure I really NEED it, but I figure it might be a deterrent to them as well as the tresspass warning. Shane is paying for the camera and the service. It got added to the amount he owes me eyeroll Someday that'll get paid back.

Nap sounds nice. But I almost never can sleep during the day unless I'm sick. But I am TIRED. I may lay down and rest myself later today. Its chilly out right now again, which is also why I am tired. I get tired/sleepy when I'm cold, like I want to go hibernate and warm up lol

Yes, good! That's true a camera is also a deterrent. Goes along with a sign informing there IS a camera. Even if that's not true, because I sure don't always know where the camera is supposed to be, knowing there MIGHT be one has me more self-conscious :P

I am very sensitive to light when it comes to sleep, so when it's daytime I just need my eye mask. And I might not be able to fall asleep! But laying down is also resting. So yes, good idea when you're tired!

And yeah! All the retired Subeautique items in my wardrobe are gifts from Drills :D those are pretty fun to get. So rare too. But fun!

Well the camera works. It is sideways, but I can turn my phone hahah I got to watch four 15 second videos of Nathan driving up, walking up to the door, walking out to the car, and driving away LOL

Yea, my bedroom has tinfoil over the windows to keep out the light. I make sure anything that has lights (printer, computer, charging cables) is covered up so the light isn't visible when I'm in bed. When I sleep somewhere else, I have learned to use a sleep mask for my eyes. It helps. Sleeping elsewhere is always awful. Blocking the light helps some though.

Accepted students day went well, she's definitely decided to put her application in for the honors program, and accepted the invite to their Scholars program (which gives an extra $500 scholarship and gives some other benefits).

And the play went GREAT. Seriously, they were all incredible. Except today was the last day and uh.. everyone cried. And one of the kids even cried in the middle of her big moment (a 7th grader!). Poor kid. But everyone was just so pleased for them.

Have to go in early to work tomorrow too, after uh.. everything else. So. That's great.

I need a shower but I'll be quite honest, I'm just too tired for that haha.

Nathan was at work while it all went down, and I was in bed before he got home, so when he got home for dinner last night, he was like, umm whats with the camera??? Ohhhh my. Yeah. I had not had a chance to talk to him really, and he didn't notice the camera on the table before going to work hahah! ooops. He agrees. They're all idiots.

YAAAAY for Lily!! I saw some of your pictures, the play looked like it was amazing, so I am glad to hear it was. Kids (teenagers) can get so emotional when they know its their "last" time doing something....I know a few art/chorus kids like that, as well as my friends daughters who were in dance. But the college thing too! Whooo!!! YAY Girl!! Anything extra is beneficial, especially if she knows she can handle honors!!

The honors program is just one extra project per class, and apparently there's a TON of perks.. including even more scholarship money, first dibs on classes (so you can make sure to get the classes and schedules you want), money for extra opportunities like study abroad, etc.

And you get to live in an old mansion!

Ook. One more step taken. I got the auto insurance switched and the home owners policy set up but basically on hold until closing...I have to call State Farm tomorrow and cancel that policy, but I might wait a day or two ;) Ashley (Ryans girlfriend) is my contact at State Farm - but Allstate is saving me at least $20 a month on the car insurance and will save me almost $1000 yearly on the home owners!! Hopefully we will have a closing and not a "sorry you're screwed" after the appraisal tomorrow :P If not, maybe I can just have the homeowners policy set up on Ryans mortgage hahahaha

Nathan has moved more stuff out of his room but shut the door when I got home. I need to go inspect :P

Also, Orkin (pest control) is supposed to come tomorrow too, but between 4-6pm. So yah, everyones coming tomorrow I guess :P

Anyway. Ignoring that even tho its pissing me off. And crossing my fingers for a GOOD inspection result. Thats all I want right now. Just that. Then we'll move to the next thing. Honestly, I know the house can be inspected even if its a mess, but who wants a stranger to see such a nasty mess?

oooh Random update. - Speaking of - I've been trying to play at least a few times a day (wish I had the time to play every hour and a half hahah!) I don't think he cleaned at all overnight. And he's asleep now. HE damn well better wake up. But I did warn the inspector that he was a night owl and he could ring the doorbell multiple times and between that and the dog barking it would wake him up! :P

We burned some old couches/mattresses a few times. The problem comes with the wire left after - the scrap guy refused to take that. So you either keep storing the scraps or you find a trash place to haul it to - I don't have a truck so I can't haul it. Its been sitting in my yard since the scrapguy left it. And I mean to move it back into the back house but haven't yet.

No pranks that I am aware of - but Elwood will visit with a slightly naughty joke/item OR pizza! in the news page if I remember right. Its only a one day thing so I forget about it until it happens again.... :P On Subeta, April 1st is Elwood Day.

The guy called me stating he hand rang the doorbell, knocked super hard, the dog was going crazy but then shut up suddenly..... I offered to see if I could leave work and come home to let him in but he said he would come back this afternoon. He was very kind about it. Especially when he realized I worked at the school his wife used to work at 😂
