We don’t know which weapon will work at any given time so you have to test as many as you can from tiers 1-3. The odds are it will be a cheap one so I would start with those and eliminate them, then start testing the pricier ones.

Oo I haven't gathered too many weapons. /: But I will def let you know if I find the one! I'm very on and off on this site but I'll try to check in everyday and continue getting weapons.

It resets after someone sends a multiple of 5 wins (5, 10, 15, etc.).

If you want to get around this and have multiple people get wins on him with the same weapon, have everyone send their 4th win, then start the 5th battle, knock him down to 0 health, then do not end the battle until everyone is ready to send their 5th win together. This is the tricky part where people can mess up and reset the weapon if they don't wait.

You can also get wins with all of your own pets by having the other pets only fight until 4 wins. Then you can pick the one pet you want to get the 5th win on.

Okay so hold off on sending win 5 so I can at least let know! There's no weird time limit, like both of us having to send in win 5 at the same time? Also thanks for always being so helpful and answering all these questions!

Right, there's no weird time limit :P As long as you're both holding the battle and have the Troll at 0 HP, you can send in your 5th win at any time.

Looks like you are relatively new to subeta too, welcome! Battling could be super confusing. There are some great user owned guides listed in the first post, I would definitely take a look at those. Battling has a lot of elements that can be overwhelming in the beginning but will be less confusing as you get used to it. The most important thing is to train your pet and battle all the challengers you are able. I would not buy anything expensive as you will blow through the lower tiers. Tier 5/6 is when you will probably start to slow down and can take on the hard/very hard challengers with better weapons. Subeta lodge has a full weapon list you can search for weapons by your tier and by what icons they block or attack with.

How do the challengers scale? Is it just their HP that continues to go up? Or do their attacks get stronger as well? Thanks in advance! :)

I believe they increase 10% in health, str and def for any one win. I might be wrong though.:P
