My Subeta Memory

Oh goodness, how to choose? It all has to do with the friendships and community on Subeta, which has kept me here for over 16 years. One of my favorite memories is of the "Throw A Themed Birthday Party For the User Above" event that I ran for many years during my birthday month. It was about being creative and surprising the other participants and spreading kindness. I loved seeing what others did for one another. It was so much fun!

Something I'd Love to See

I love the recent transition into providing opportunities to gain old advent items; Morostide felt especially successful. I would love to see more of that across all events.

I just want to say thank you to the staff and volunteers that run Subeta. They have always been kind and respectful and I have a huge amount of respect for what it must take to keep this website and Kumos operating. Here's to another 16 years!

I have been playing for so long, I have so many memories! I remember the early days working out which quests to do, getting really excited over getting items that are almost worthless these days. I remember saving up to buy a Mysterious Sack and making one of my first proper avatars with it.

Another plot! I loved taking part in a big storyline with everyone, trying to solve puzzles and coming up with theories was so much fun.

My favourite memory from subeta was the year when things went wrong with Luminaire and gift giving was extended through all of December. As someone who loves giving and interacting in the holiday forums especially that year was extra fun and I miss it a bit every Lumi.

Something I'd Love to See

Something achievable I'd like to see would be a more water based area or at least some kind of underwater job added to the job centre for all our hydrus and underwater pets to fit in with. (Additionally my one crazy and less achievable wish for subeta is a room decorating function to give the furniture items in this game a use even if its just a 2d visual thing we could share with eachother in the forums, I know this isn't doable with the current team but one can dream)

More games, more ways to earn profile trophies that I can display. Pet colors - I'd like to see a christmas type variant color, maybe the idea you could attach accessories and clothing items to your pet.

I've been here so long, trying to think of, remember, or even just pick one memory is so DIFFICULT... But I can't help but always harken back to that time that 4chan invaded subeta or whatever just because we had the long cat meme as an wearable??? Whatever LMAO... Those sure were old internet times that can no longer be had anymore, I feel. It's just totally nostalgic despite the circumstance, imo!

that aside, i've been happy every time i could have the chance to make a pet that represents stuff I like, even if I'm not good with upkeep or finishing things... but alas, that is happening with every hobby atm. I'm sure in time I'll figure out my rhythm!

Something I'd Love to See

It'd be so nice if we had a proper search engine for pets. Sometimes I really like being able to look up how many pets are named "X" from "INSERT FANDOM" and then seeing what people do with them!! I do this on every site I'm on, I wanna see like-minded people and potentially STEAL IDEAS FROM THEM make friends! Or just nod my head in solidarity. "oh this guy knows peak"...

Heh...I think my favorite memory was realizing the blob pet colors would let me have 'cherries and cream' pets. I laughed for hours after that.

What I'd really like to see is a Harvest Bhakoru so my pet Harvest Mild can actually be what I envisioned him to be. And/or a lot more Shegui Guo development in any way (clothes, plots, shops, minions, etc.). But a Harvest Bhakoru is my first priority.

my favorite subeta memory is the year i spammed some random person with wishlist gifts while i RP'd as karkat vantas from homestuck. watching them try to figure out who i was when in reality i had no connection to them in the slightest was super fun and i really enjoyed it.

blease can there be a scheduled recycling beast day once a year for all the items that need to be dumped from the system like free beer and whatever other abominable hoards are still lurking out there

It's more of a personal than a community memory, as I've almost always been a total hermit here, but I remember how much it meant to me to see canon queer characters on the site. Quentin being nonbinary, getting to be a part of a wedding between two women, and so on.

A Shengui Guo-based pet colour would be neat! Something inspired by sakura blossoms, a teal/emerald and gold gilded tempest sort of colour, something directly water (bathhouse) related, lantern or festival themed - there are so many possibilities.

I was playing neopets ages ago and came across subeta. I was hooked pretty quickly. I've met some friends and have had a lot of fun with plots over the years.

I'm an older player who returned from a long hiatus. I feel like I've missed quite a bit, but I'm anxious to begin again! I'd like to see some of the game achievements working, more plots, more IRL stuff (I think most of us are oldies, now, lol).

My favourite memories are just playing Subeta with my friends when we were younger - it wasn't banned on our school computer network so we used to play it when we were supposed to be doing online work in French class :-P on the site itself, I remember the first survival (The Great Pandemic!) event - that was so exciting! :-)

I know it's a lot of work, so totally fair if this doesn't happen, but I'd love to see a new plot! Whether it's big like some of the Masquerade ones, or something smaller like Emma & Ester's wedding - anything that involves NPCs, fun activities, maybe some battle challengers or puzzles... They're always so much fun and it's great to work together as a community :-)

My favorite memory is the Steele Excavations Plot. I love puzzles, I love battles, and I absolutely adore Blake Steele! Even the digging was fun, thanks to the users in the comments <3

I really love Subeta and am grateful that it’s still alive, giving all of us positive emotions and memories. I really hope that plots will return as soon as it becomes possible. And site-wide bosses! Fighting together is really fun! Also I hope for more battle opponents in general (-:

I introduced Subeta to my little brother a few years ago, and that made me very happy as I was a mostly solo player for the 11 years prior to that. Though he hasn't been active in a while, I still love to surprise him with gifts and make him smile.

New plots and events, for sure. I also would love to see some gaps filled in for pets without certain colors, and new colors in general.

While it seems strange, I think that hack from well over ten years ago that was so bad that there had to be a sitewide rollback. As I had just lost my Neopets account around that time, it was really nice in a weird way to have that sense of community all waiting for the same sort of goal. I remember the little digital pet too to feed whenever the site would go down.

I have to many memories (which is very good in my opinion) but one of my "newest" is, that I'm able to finally find stuff at the Blackheart Hollow. I think it's started around 2020 or 1-2 years later, but since this, I find "often" stuff there and post it in the Post your BHH restocks HERE!-topic. °-° I'm here for 19 years, 9 months and a bit more, but BHH was always... Something extreme special and secret like. And hard to get. While I'm a avid video gamer since I was 3 years, I love it when also sites like subeta has something challenging. Something, you don't get directly. You had to work for it - some subetans more and harder than others. Or just more luck than other subetans. This is something - as speaking as video gamer - I really enjoy and love. ^-^

Based on the Monthly Collection, how about 1 monthly food item for Fresh and Flavorful? In my childhood, one of our restaurants in the town had a monthly country, where they served dishes from. We have so many countries and different foods around the world, maybe this shop can get a little bit more love with this idea?

I will play Subeta untill I'm 100. I really enjoy this site, even if I'm not active as in the past, but I enjoy seeing every new News Post, not matter which information is it. I lenjoy and admire the fast response with Tickets (I also do User support on other websites), the connection between strangers who become online friends while sending random gifts, the communication in the topics (when I find the time to read and response >o<").

Thank you Subeta Team for this site and for any upcoming renewals, functions, events/plots/pets/colors/items. Thank you Subeta Community for having fun with you, especially during events when all the subetans around the globe helping each other.

Probably peek-a-boo. I remember repping horns and roses and was so happy when they won -- those items are still some of my favorite items on site.

I also remember the moro plot with jaxon and ian very fondly as well
