LOL, well, they wouldn't have to worry about my little ones. Any one of them could probably peck them and beat them with their wings. They both weigh about 10 lbs. I'm afraid I couldn't help with the garden or the chickens.

I don't think we had air conditioning when I was a kid. I think we just left the windows open and hoped for a good breeze. I do remember a swamp cooler (which smelled constantly of fish) and later on central heat and air. But nothing when I was little.
