How’s everyone doing? Are you ready for Luminaire and Christmas in RL? I would love to say I am but I’m not even close this year!

I don't mean to be a downer in a happy season, but I'd like to mention something that breaks my heart. I follow several dog rescue groups in my area and I have seen them mention several times how hard it is. They give their time, energy and often their own money to rescue dogs, cats, horses, etc. from horrible conditions. And often for all their effort they get hateful people griping at them for not helping them. Animal rescue is a soul-draining occupation and I've seen two people commit suicide from it, a cat rescuer and a fox rescuer (neither in my area). If any of you know animal rescuers in your area, please drop them a note and let them know how much you appreciate what they do.
