Major updates to the quest system based on feedback yesterday, thank you and keep it coming!
Daily Quest Rewards
‼️ THIS IS A BETA FEATURE: I will be monitoring the amount of CSC that goes out, the daily completion rates, and finding the right balance. It could be less, or more CSC. Let me know what you think!
Introducing a new Cash Shop Credit reward system for completing the daily quests on Kumos!
- Earn 5 CSC at 80% daily quest completion, and an additional 15 at 100% completion. 20 total per day!
- GA Benefits: The counter is based on finishing all of that quest per day not including the GA bonus, so you have a much easier time hitting that 80% and 100%
Item Pools
- Maleria has been fixed and should no longer be running out of items. I'm using the new system that expanded Saggi's pool yesterday and will continue to roll this out to the other quest givers. The Wizard is most likely next. Her pool has gone from 400 -> 5,454 items!!
Fixes
- GAs should actually be able to complete 5/5 quests per day and stop getting the "You have completed the maximum quests" at 4/5
- Fixed more caching issues in the pooling for items

How do I play the quests here?
Are there going to be other ways to get/earn CSC? I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't do the full complement of quests on either site.
I was able to do all the quests and the counter was up-to-date as I went through each quest! The CSC claiming went smoothly, and no issues with items in the quest pool. Cool feature, and worked great for me - thank you!!
Two small thoughts:
- When you've completed all the quests for a provider, perhaps the "start" button should grey out? I can't quite remember if it looked different when I had quests available.
- Currently, you need to side-scroll to view the items required for questers that request many items, or items with long names. Perhaps all the items can be slightly smaller or the item names fold into the next line, to reduce the scrolling needed?
This is fun! I usually navigate from the top bar and not the quests main page, could we get a reminder on each quest page when our credits are ready to be collected?

When is the CSC reward starting? I did all the quests today and I didn't get any.
If you did them before I reset (with a link to this thread) you will have to do them again - it started from that push.
Otherwise, look at your https://kumos.subeta.net/quests quests hub - where you can see all of the quests and the number that you've done for the day!

I'm always going to look for ways to put it in, but this is really just to replace something we have in the existing system (morty cards). I'll be entirely honest - running Subeta costs a lot of money and the more CSC we give away from features realistically means less CSC being purchased overall. We can only afford (literally) to give away so much for free, we are already on the most shoe-string of a shoe-string budget.

Did all the quests, got the bonus, that was nice! Everything is buyable today so yay!
Only, did you tweek Saggi's payout? He was giving a LOT, but now he is giving about...75k each time XD I forget the exact number, but each time it was like 75105sp or something (it seemed to be the same amount?), even if I spent over 100k for the items. I made more on Pete so figured that might be a glitch.. Thanks!
Hey hun, what are your thoughts on official Subeta merchandise to help offset costs? I've been absent for a few years so I don't know if you've voiced your opinion on this yet.
I was talking with my daughter about a lack of Subeta merch and, short of making my own amigarumis or knitting my own, I thought it would be lovely to have an official plush/pin/shirt that I know supports the site too. Has this been discussed before? I know things have improved over the past couple of decades when it comes to getting merchandise to our customers these days.
I saw that you mention items from Saggi and Maleria but I didn't get any items from either of them (which is totally fine) - is that something that comes later when you build up reputation or is it borked? I have done the quests here for the first time today.
It would be nice to have a sidebar that shows the progress of the Daily Quest Rewards while questing. Currently, the only way is to go back to the quests page. Since the quest loop involves immediately accepting the next quest via the Quest Completion Details, you basically never see the Daily Quest Rewards progress until you go back to the quest page.
Maybe it could have a similar UI to how the Weekend Quest Bonus windows work, in which we can see the progress at the top of the quests.
ahhh, met with the blaring white of the default, that beast has yet to be felled. we will miss morty cards, but having a consistent way of being able to earn csc by questing seems nice. with the conversion rate of our money to USD, buying csc isnt feasible to be entirely honest! not to mention that it's more difficult to buy csc due to payment processors, so the only way we can gain it is to get it free of buy it off of user shops.
