Being scared to the point of passing out isn't my idea of fun, LOL. I NEVER ride roller coasters or any ride having to do with heights.

I'm scared of heights and I'm scared of speed lol. Theme parks are not for everyone and it's also not everyone's idea of fun. I don't know what made me pass out. Speed, G-Force, being terrified? Maybe all the above lol. Would I go again? Yes! Children rides. I enjoyed the food. I did have fun, even though I was very scared.
A journal publishing:
People can pass out, gray out, or experience loss of peripheral vision on coasters for a number of reasons. But according to the Rice Undergraduate Science Research Journal, the main reason is positive G-forces. G-force is the measure of acceleration divided by the gravitational constant. It causes blood pressure to drop and briefly deprive the brain of oxygen, and every individual experiences G-Forces differently.
wow! - great score Chookie :)
- O. M. G. nooooooooo....I watched the first video and got dizzy, felt the G force and now have to go change my clothes :P
The only kind of rides I used to ride were those with centrifugal force, the kind that make you dizzy. But anything with height? Not a chance.

- Still in Ohio...been here 10 days. Drove 6 days and was so surprised and happy I have better driving stamina than I thought! I've been helping my daughter and her husband get moved in. They don't really need the help, they are doing great but we are having fun with it. Oh and we'll be going to the state fair! I haven't been to a state fair in decades...so looking forward to it. Okay well there is a ton more info than you probably wanted :P
oh no chance in heck, I wouldn't have got on that ride with it kept breaking down while you waited. Plus I don't those type of rides. I am with you not a fan of fair rides or amusement park rides. Congrats on !!! Have fun at the state fair, I love fairs.
6 days is a long drive. How many hours a day? Glad you are having fun and how do they like Ohio so far?
The rides I liked were fairly mild and had nothing to do with heights.

Exactly, also why I never did all the dangerous training that required me to jump out or rappelling out of helicopters or planes in the army.
- Our shortest day was almost 5 hours and our longest about 8. Mostly 6.5 to 7 I think. Others have said they could have done it in less time but with three kitties we didn't want our days to be too long. The kitties did alright though (they were doped up) :)
- Me too! I think so anyway because it's been forever since I've been to a state fair. I love to see the animals.
- Congratulations!! Thats awesome you snagged that.
- wow! You had quite the day. Glad you had a chance to get out and have some fun.
It was a great feeling to get it.
Think that is a long enough day. Gary drove to Hervey Bay Queensland and did 10 hours a day. Glad I didn't go. Think 3 hours, a break then another 3 is enough time in a car for 1 day.
my last state fair was in Albuquerque, NM. So much to see and do, we even got to see an indigenous tribe having a pow wow, and rodeo. Albuquerque also has nice hot air balloon event annually.
- Agreed! When we had the 7.5 hours and over days I needed more coffee than anyone should have in the afternoon. The last day was a long one but we had adrenaline on our side because we were so excited just to get here.
- I LOVE New Mexico and dream of attending that hot air balloon festival some day. The last state fair for me would have been Nebraska and I loved it. It was many years ago and since then I've been to some great county fairs but nothing like a state fair.
one day hopefully you can attend both the fair and hot air balloon festival.
Girl, not even! No heights for me.
I used to go to the TriState Fair every year when I was little. I went to Six Flags once, I went to an arcade while Monty and his girlfriend rode a horrid drop ride. I took one look and said hell no. LOL

even a high ladder is a challenge, but my rain gutters wont clean themselves. i am with you heck no no crazy rides.
Wow nice score on the weapon. :) Loved the rappelling and choppers too.I enjoyed the battle runs with the choppers the most..just inches from the tops of trees and doing 100 ++mph side to side was awesome.Night jumps were a little dicey as you can't see how close you are to the ground until you hit it...i think maybe that one could hurt a little bit landing wrong or thunder in or maybe land in something you don't expect or want...like trees/bushes etc. Wow more rain for tamarra yikes.
