I just entered the Dad HA contest. I based my entry on some of my favorite memories of Dad, when he was working on the yard. He took great pride in having a good-looking yard. I loved the smell of new mown grass and I really loved when he was watering the yard, because in the hot summer he would let kids drink out of the hose and play in the spray as he was watering.

Went and looked ... he looks great but IMO he could use a hat.

Naw, Dad never wore a hat when he did yardwork. In fact, most of the time he didn't wear a shirt and just wore cutoff shorts. He also liked doing the work barefoot, he loved the feel of grass on his feet. I had to put a shirt on him because I CANNOT get the gender tab to work in the base area.

I wondered if he wore one.

Heheh, Dad was like me. He loved hot weather and utterly hated the cold.

Heheh, riding with my mom in the summer was miserable. She turned the AC up full blast and just about froze me out. One time we were going shopping and when we got to the store I jumped out of the car and just stood there on the blacktop reveling in the heat. It was like standing in an oven and I just stood there moaning about how good it felt. I told Mom to go inside, I was going to stand there for a while and warm back up. She looked at me like I was crazy.

So exciting! I have three of my own. :) It's a wonderful time.

We were in tropical Queensland with family last November. Hot and humid. AC was on all the time and they were walking around in shorts and tees and swimming in the pool. I was walking around in sweatshirt and sweat pants.

Yes, it is very exciting. c: It is very nice that you were able to have 3 of your own too! :-) I am kind of older (38 as of May!), so my goal is to have 4 but I don't know if that will happen. I'm just really happy to start and have as many as I can. I always dreamed of having a huge bunch of kids. lol I know its not everyone's cup of tea. -shrug-

A lot of women are having children in their 30's and 40's. I had my first when I was 24 and then my second child at 34 and third at 36. I would have had more, if it were in the cards. I've heard of women having children in their 50's. My partner told me about a couple he knew, where the wife thought she had gone through menopause and when she got remarried was surprised to find she had gotten pregnant with her new husband.
As for number of kids, that doesn't matter. It's up to you and your partner. :)
