After a couple days of no issues, I'm once again getting the infinite quest bug - this time with Mauve's Runway Ready quest, locked at 4/5 no matter how many I complete.

Came to find my post from yesterday which wasn't showing up, I don't see it so I assume it failed somehow? Maybe this post will... post.

Having an issue where I'm opening all 4 items in new tabs and if it's in user shops, I can't buy the item until I refresh the tab. No rhyme or reason to it happening (all questgivers, doesn't matter if I open an NPC item first or not). Does seem to happen more if I've already bought from whatever the 1st tab is, then only the NPC shop tabs respond to purchases.

I must be getting the above ^ infinite quest bug with Saggi. I assumed I miscounted due to the whole 1 of 3 + 2 quests remaining math equation but apparently not, I'd guess I did 2 extra. It seems like buying items for Kumos quests from NPC shops doesn't take my discount card or the shop discount buff into account? Would be nice to see that functioning as it was absurdly expensive and will take years to pay off as is

Here's the rundown of these last three days. Unsure if I got unlucky today with Miss Maybel, or was her payout nerfed?

Pete's quests have gone wonky. I've done 10 of them this morning and he still shows that I have 3/5 left and is still willing to give me unlimited quests.

The quests are not mobile friendly for me. I have to do a lot of left and right scrolling, as the shop search doesn't fit on my phone. These are easier on PC (still buggy though). I also got a few loading errors.

Also it's hard to leave feedback when the posts don't go through on this thread in kumos. I found posting from Page 2 (instead of the first or last page) works.

But I look forward to quests improving. It can be tedious doing 150 legacy quests per day (though I love legacy).

!!!! I mean if you know its only FIVE quests, you should not take advantage of unlimited questing ._.

this usually happens when the item is not in stock! (when questin however, it will still show the npc price option even if its not in stock).

A few posts back Keith did tweak with her quests, since she was asking for expensive minions and not rewarding properly. But yeah, its taking the price of the item in consideration of rewards:

rewarded me 72k rewarded me 30k rewarded me 47k

(while other minions were around 1-2k)

Irritated with being shown that an item is in stock in a Kumos NPC shop only to get a 404 error when trying to buy it.

I've only tried the new wizard quests so far. With regular wizard I get more tokens than with the new wizard. The books are nice but I keep getting the same ones. I haven't tried any of the other new quests yet because the blank white page that seems disorganized is distracting & not as user friendly as the old quest pages. Not looking forward to the change.

Rumi quests still are unlimited, did 8 of them and it still says 1/5 left. Buying from a NPC-Shop from the startside of the quest sometimes leads to a white 404 page, though the item is in the shop and can be bought there

I'm also getting the NPC shop 404 bug. It only happens if you try to open the NPC shop on the start page of the quest. If you're a user with this issue you can circumvent this by just looking it up through a user shop first, then clicking on the NPC search when the quests are displayed at the top of the page. I noticed that clicking on a NPC link from the Quest Start Page leads to: https://kumos.subeta.net/shops/30/0 With a 0 at the end every time, whereas doing it from the integrated screen leads to eg. https://kumos.subeta.net/shops/30/2866

to be ignored with all the others who said no, this is horrible, but Amber says we should still put forth effort to say we don't like it even though someone's mind is clearly made up.

Reducing the number of quests to 3 is, if you will excuse my English, bloody stupid. If the current populace, that isn't in the apparently small percentage of us who do quests, can't be arsed to do three of each quest now, why exactly would they do so in future? I did try out this new system, horrid. Did two and left. The Kumos site in general is not user friendly or smooth or anything. I only go there for the wardrobe since I can't do it anywhere else.

I get the change in number from 30 quests each to 15 whenever that occurred, but 3 or 5 if you have a GA? What will be the point of being on the site then? Do you know how many damn hours I spend on this site?? Do you know why I spend so many hours on this site? I'll give you one guess.

Why is our CHOICE to do as many or as little quests as we like being taken away?

I'd note how many people who pay real world money for gold accounts have told you no, I do not like this and can see themselves no longer paying, have voiced their opinions. Tell me, does this large percent who don't do quests contribute real dollars to this site? Do you have a breakdown of that information? I finally was able to actually start paying for a gold account this year, and now you're making me think I should rethink that choice. How many paying customers are you planning on alienating because you randomly want to change quests?

I am one of those people who for the better part of 17+ years has done every quest every day, it's been harder to do the past couple of years, but I'm getting back into the habit because I like doing them. Yes, they can be quite mindless, but I bloody enjoy it, and in case you haven't looked outside recently, joy is getting hard to find. I wouldn't do it if I found it to be a chore.

Yes, I hoard wizard tokens, sP, and any other currency I can get, why is that an issue? Gods know I will never have this much money in real life, so I'm going to enjoy it in this fake one, I thank you.

I read all 37 pages of this thread last Friday night, having been completely oblivious that someone was trying to mess everything up. To say I got pissed is an understatement. You are not addressing those of us who have legitimate concerns. After about the first five pages it feels like those of us who are displeased have been ignored. It feels like your mind is clearly already set on destroying how we do quests and tough tits to those of us who have been here for years and years and years, here's the door, don't let it hit you in the arse on the way out. That is all I am seeing. As for those of us who have reached the top tiers of the quest achievements, we seem to just be getting thanks, here's a cheap gold watch.

I don't read what the NPCs say, nor do I care. Why not introduce these random NPC quests as the weekend quests instead of selecting one of the current ones to be highlighted each weekend? You could introduce a couple each weekend, let someone decide if they want to do them.

There's too many currencies? Whose fault is that? Combine Recycle Beast and Fragmentizer. Combine Steamworks and Lounge Trinkets. For the love of everything unholy, get rid of the Subeautique Invitations, I cannot stand when those are automatically added to the count. I have 161 of the silly things, they are not that useful and I sure don't use them often enough.

Now that I have made myself irate again... If these past few pages is anything to go by, this new system pays out pennies, it is not an optimal way to keep the economy running and for people to actually make sP, and will just make people hoard more items, and we all know how irritating you find the hoarding of objects.

It's not my politest response, but when someone is out here trying to mess up something, something many of us enjoy, for no discernable reason, well, I get put out.

I finally ran into the infinite quest glitch for the first time tonight. The counter is stuck at "Daily Limit: 4 of 3 + 2 quests remaining" on Maleria but it keeps letting me restart. I did a few extra before realizing I had probably done too many, then I had to do one more to check that the counter was really stuck and I wasn't just tripping. I guess that speaks to the fact that at least I can get into something of a groove and just keep mindlessly clicking while doing the Kumos quests now, so that's a good thing lol

Mmh... I cannot seem to buy from any npc shop due to a "404 | Not Found" error (as others have reported), but I guess keeping the legacy shop search on another tab helps.

Like others have reported, I'm also getting 404 | Not Found errors whenever I try to use the NPC shop search option when questing, so far none of my quests yesterday and today have been able to use the NPC shop search for buying, so I have to buy from user shops.

My thoughts on having the number of quests reduced to 3 or 5 with a GA. At the moment we don't have all the legacy quest givers as Kumos quest givers but we do have 3 new ones. I'm guessing that all the legacy quest givers will be moved to the Kumos site eventually and we might even get a few more new ones.

On the legacy site we only get one quest point for every 5 completed quests. How about using the reputation system here - one point for every 5 when starting out then two for reputation tier 2 and three for reputation tier 3 etc. Somebody in this thread suggested smelting for quest points in the way we can smelt for Recycle Beast points. People could then use sP to get extra quest points if they need to.

I agree with Memoria to some extent where SBQ invitations are concerned. I'm happy when the fashionista gives me an invitation because I can put it in my shop and sell it. I'm not happy when I get one from the Bathhouse Pool because I have 91 in my special currencies which are forever stuck there because I can't draw them out to sell. I don't restock at the SBQ for clothing and I've got all the makeup I need.

Not me using old subeta's shop search to do these quests. I find so many of the subeta shop links to be broken. The broken links are super annoying on the new questing system. I will use the old search and still be able to buy some things from the NPC shop there though.

Broccoli Spore Wand is 17k in the Kumos NPC shop, while it's 2.1k on legacy. I noticed few other items are ~10k - 15k more expensive than legacy main shops too. Quests have gone more smoothly than the last time I did them, but still running into 404 errors when clicking on NPC links; occasional 404s when trying to complete a quest; and items like Blueberry Gummy Lungs that aren't in stock, but constantly gets listed as an NPC option.
