Hey everyone, just pushed out some changes to the sP rewards for quests (and reset them for those of you who've already done them today).
I also want to call attention to my post on the page before this one on this very thread where I outline that I want these to have more sP rewards than the legacy quests and that is what we are working toward here. I'm not trying to take away your toys, make them less fun to play with, or ruin your day. You're right that it shouldn't be asking for 10 million sP items and that's what we're trying to resolve here by testing. If you don't want to test, you don't have to! There isn't a requirement, and the legacy quests will cotninue running until we hit a good balance here.

I was very pleased with the Saggitarius rewards and the Wizard is now paying out a bit more which is good - it's not as much as the legacy Wizard pays out but the legacy version doesn't reward items as well as sP so I suppose it evens out.
Tried Runway Ready quests and got this message when I clicked the start quest button "Unable to start quest: Could not find enough available items that meet the quest requirements. This usually means there are not enough items available in shops or the required items are too rare. Please try again later when more items become available."
The good thing is that it saved me clicking Quit for every quest but would it be possible to restock the Kumos NPC shops he wants items from otherwise we can't test this quest out any more.
Lol no worries keith - we have full faith in you making this just as wonderful for us and fun for us as legacy quests. c: testing always comes with risks! And i’m so grateful for you letting us test for you, despite it all. ♥️ subeta is worth it, in my eyes.

Thank you for your continued work and sorry for not reading all the posts ahead of time LOL. Looking forward to the "see staff posts" option on a board like this (I think that's a thing on kumos right? lol) so I don't keep doing that when giving feedback.
The quests atm are looking super (part way through). Rewards are nice and fall within a clear range per giver.
With the lastest quest changes, we're kinda iffy. I was asked by Maybel to turn in an which I was able to buy from the shops for under 3k despite its value being 60k in user shops. For my efforts, I was given 16k + several RB items as a reward. I would consider this a loss because I would have made more selling the item than completing the quest. Also if I had already purchased an Eodd for the day, I would be taking a loss of 45k to buy from the user market.
However, for the bulk of her quests, turning in low rarity minions in exchange for around 15-25k per quest is a net gain.
Oh, good call, thank you! She was missed when I updated other quests this morning. I realized that I'd made a huge mistake - there is a flag that can be set in the "prize rules", which is what the system uses to determine all of the prizes. Something weird was going on with weekend_bonus (it thought it was always a weekend quest?) and all of the values for those were set when I created the new system, and were very low 😭
Mabel is no logner confused about the day of the week, and will return much better prizes now, I think!

Okay so I realized that I can remove items from my vault on my computer but not on my phone.
However today, i had done 8 Maleria quests when I realized I had overshot my 5. I stopped, obviously.
Didn't have that issue w/the Wizard or Saggi. Only 5 quests each.
Saggi paid out about 780k over 4 quests (I had to quit 1 where the request was for an item costing 1.2mil). Absolutely a huge improvement over before.
Sorry, that little piece of confusion is totally my fault 😰 The link for the shop will take you directly to that users shop, but the shops themselves haven't been implemented on Kumos yet (just buying the items). I'll remove the second link for now until I've got that fully built out.

This is looking great! No out of control user shop prices.
Each quest giver averages around 150k-250k/day gains (based on non-GA vs GA) with some giving slightly more or less based on who the NPC is or other rewards that the NPC gives. Examples: Saggi still gives out bank in sP while the wizard only gives out 30k-50k per day in sp but also doles out 150-250 wiz tokens per day.
Overall this is feeling like a productive use of my time on the site.
As for the boosted quests, would it be possible to do basically flex holidays with bonus quests? For me, weekends are super busy so i'd personally prefer 3 weekdays be boosted. I'm sure some folks have to work partial weekends and might miss out on part of the boost. If players could choose which days are best for their weekend bonuses, that would be fantastic.
Wow I got 1.1 mil from Saggi which was nice. the Wizard seems to be stuck at 3/5 quest for me and I am pretty sure I did 5 already. Edit not the Wizard but Pete. Sorry.

The sP payout is more aligned with each quest giver/cost of the items. E.g. Saggi asking for more expensive jewellery = more sP payout
Thanks for moving the quest giver info to be below the quest items. Sometimes I play on my laptop where the screen is really tiny and I like to do an Account Search for an item first so having extra space to select the legacy options is nice. The only downside is that for Pete, because he asks for four items, the item on the furtherest right side always gets cut off if I don't have the window maximized. Possible fix for the future?

Tried Saggi - perfect ... even though,.. I love having to wager on legacy, when it comes to item costs, that may exceed his payout,...
Same as Paramour on layout and window resizing. hover pop up also needs adjusting to acting intelligently. Real hover is a must! Being without it is a huge handicap.
Thankyou for clarifying Keith -- I personally feel a bit better about all this after reading your responses. I'm looking forward to seeing what you have planned for the tier system and the replacement for morty cards.
I think that the idea of discounts as you progress each NPC's tier is a good way to incentivize doing dailies.
I am wondering though -- after the beta is done and the new quests are finalized, will we be able to keep the tiers we have already earned?
Edit: (Another question lol) If you're trying to minimize the amount of currencies on the site, would you consider combining steamworks and lounge trinkets?

The ONLY issue tonight was Pink Mini Phone, which sent you to the shop istead of letting you buy it from the NPC shop (was a Rumi quest). That was it! Profit was back up (All those gummy lungs made pete mondo generous tonight especially), nothing 404'd me, no one got stuck in a loop, and I noticed you moved the quester banner to below the complete button so said button does not scroll off page XD Not sure about aesthetic for that one, but the ~~lazy ~~tired after work me is pretty pleased with the lack of scrolling for every quest.
In case you are keeping profit tabs, since you mentioned it, I made just about or near enough the same between these and the legecy quests today. Maybe a bit more on legecy, but since there are so many less quests here, I'd have expected a bigger discrepency.
10/10, will quest test again

Did some of Wizard's - what is he supposed to cash out at the 2nd reputation level?
New bug: Sometimes the item pictures do only appear after refreshing. Clicking the empty white square does nothing/will not result in opening the info menu.
Okay so I lied yesterday, everything worked fine I guess but looking back on them today, the payouts for wizard is kinda lame, maybe like a 10k profit per quest. Not including tokens. Sagittarius really isn't work doing anymore(EDIT IT'S BEEN FIXED AND IT'S DEFINITELY WORTH IT TODAY, YESTERDAY WAS A NO LOL). These what, 25/35 quests? Took me three times longer to compete then all the quests on the normal site page. and I really honestly made maybe less then one million on them all,(FIXED AFTER SAGGY 2.5 MIL) maybe it's just me but the pages are so slow and laggy, I don't like the purchase from NPC shops reloading after purchase, if that can be changed to just refresh purchase like user shops might need more seamless. The buttons are so close together that it's hard to click on the phone IDK which one I'm even clicking until the page loads, then it's weird they move around weird after you purchase an item on top o feel like I kept buying an item I just bought. I'm not sure if these are some of the changes you wanted to implement but they are seriously really hard to do in a quick fashion and in having trouble doing them on my phone because there is no distinction between button clicking SAGGY FIRST payouts 200k+ each quest Maleria is the best one for me so far, then runway I would guess
