I got a bruise on my... b**b no clue how i got it, did not had it yesterday, worked today so... But what did i do?! lol no idea.

ANd it's freezing cold here, eastern wind, fog, wee bit powder snow and no sun.. We are having fog the whole week so far, no fun

Yeah nothing else hurt but that oddly enough. Waiting to see if I bruised my booty or anything else. Doesn't seem that way. Thumb is still sore and a little swollen. It's bruised as crap black and blue.

Oh LOL I don't know if I've ever had one there...probably have. I bruise easily so I usually just notice new bruises in the shower.

We're about to end up in a nasty cold snap with the temperatures under 20 and potentially in the single digits a few days too. I'd take snow over frigid temperatures though.

After a week of fog no fog today, yay.. But we got east cold winds and clouds.. 7 days of no sun..

It's still painful to do stuff but all the bruising/ bruises with do that.

It's in the single digits here it's not supposed to get to the 20s until later this afternoon. Oy! I just pray our house heating can keep up with it.

We lost our electric heater a few weeks back, it's setup to look like a real fireplace. We don't really have the funds for a new one. :(

I pray the sun ends up warming us up and the weather people are wrong... we shall see.

My heather in my house is doing ok, i am in he middle ofnthe flat so get from all sides warmth and i have floor warming, my cats love it! They lay on the warm floor... heaven...

having 2 days off, but was bust for work today so 1 days off. I am hoping this weekend 2 whole days of no work, so tired and need a rest.

It was a nice day but cold but the fog is setting in again... 8 days of no sun... just fog.. sheesh!

I can finally type again! It's been a trying couple of weeks. Not being able to type limits my activities and that leads to a grumpy Duck. Anyways, I have some good news. I had a doctor's appointment in the middle of this last episode of swelling and pain and she's mystified. She said hand gout shouldn't act like mine is acting. She has set up for a physical therapist to come to the house and do a thorough examination. I'm also to get an ultrasound done on both hands to see if anything is amiss in there. Hopefully this plus the diagnosis from the physical therapist will give us a better picture of what is actually going on in my hands. That would be wonderful because that means if there is medicine for it, I'll get it. I just want the pain and swelling to stop. Please don't be surprised if I poof again in about a weekstime because that's the cycle it's on. About 2 weeks of swelling and pain with a week of respite between episodes. Keep your fingers, eyes, and toes crossed for me!

Nothing else is going on here. It's been a boring 2 weeks of nothing but tv, books, and feeding my inner news junkie. If only my hand had been ok, it would have been a wonderful couple of weeks.

- Sorry it didn't work out with that student but it's not your fault. You did everything you could to help her stay on track and she didn't listen. Don't beat yourself up over her inadequacies. ;) The amusement park sounds like a lot of un. I miss being able to go on rides like that. I'm glad you enjoyed it. :D

- Ouch! Are you having trouble moving your thrumb? You may want to get it x-rayed just in case. Sorry you're in a cold snap but we are too. It's been getting down into the single digits here and is very icy. Hubby just said that he would take snow over the bitter wind any day. 😂

Yes, It seems to be only very deeply bruised in multiple places. It's hard to write but thankfully typing doesn't bother it anymore at all.

I totally agree with him, it can't get that cold when it snows so that means temps above 30 anything that goes lower than my age is a HARD PASS!!

- lmao, I love using your age as a hard line for temperatures. If I did the same then the temp would have tostay above 53f for me to feel ok. It's still bitter here but it's supposed to get warmer soon. I hope they're right as all my aches and pains don't like this bitter weather. I'm so glad it'sjust bruised. Having a broken thumb is no fun at all. :D

We're getting warmer, we hit 41 today! Thank goodness! I just really don't prefer the cold.

I poofed! Sorry work is/was busy! Had another interview with a new student yesterday... did not show up and i was at work 1 hour early for it. Long story short, she emaild me she was sick at midnight and wants a new date. I picked one that was easy for me. What is this with this generation? Wy don't you call and just cancell but by email? And on a strange hour when i am asleep, not at work and i don't check my work mail at home (off is off).

Well 2 days flew by and went back to busy work mode.. pff.. Tired! 1 more evening shift to go and i am off for the weekend. No plans. STill no sun, fogg is gone we got rain now.

Not sure if you can stack them... maybe ask staff about the treasure chest totem.

The Efteling was nice, need to go again to get rid of all the stress of all these students.. Why can't i get one that has no problems.. lol! And the student that stopped had to work the next day (contract wise untill end of the month), and then she did everything we asked for all that time.. -face palm- But now she is sick... Wonder what she will do.
