i hope so, but i am fearing summer will be busy to as still no summer hired help... And i think a few residents will leave this earth to before summer hits us. Baldy is doing ok, snatching snacks from Dua is i am not looking but he can't have it.

Nope they won't hire more help, they cut down on help. We already said we need help, nightshift more then all and all we get is no money... I think we need to go on strike... but then the poor residents. No one will notice until coffee or lunch break as as always the top is not there early morning, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays..

Dua is a slow eater and does not finish it all so Meez is a sneaky baldy when i doný look he eats... Most of the time i catch him but some days..

and all the lurkers out there: Happy belated Mother's Day! (Yes, fur-babies count.) I hope you all had a fantastic day that was relaxing and full of your favorite things. I certainly did. I heard from all my kids and it was lovely just sitting and talking with them. Hubby bought me dinner at Carrabas Italian grill and it was delicious. I got a piece of their canoli cake and about died from how good it was. I was very surprised at how good the cake was, usually you don't find such good cake at a franchise restaurant. How was your day?

Usually, those out of school for the summer want to pick up some extra money and chose to work in a hospital or the like. It must be different over there then it is here. :) Sneaky Baldy. When I had cats and they misbehaved like that I would squirt them with a water gun. They hated it and learned quickly not to be naughty! 😂

Celebrated with my in-laws at a local place. My brother-in-law didn't like his food, sent it back, and eventually ordered a new entree. He actually ate it O.O'

I got Loralea a new hay feeder that wouldn’t collapse on her for Mother’s Day. She had lotta of kits before she got to the rescue I adopted her from. Mom and I went and had pizza dinner with and family so there was that. She got mom a pretty purple daisy to plant. I got her nothing. She asked me to get her nothing.

waves Howdy all. As always, sorry I've not been around (well I'm around just not chatty) or popping in to say hi. Besides battling a fair amount of depression over the winter, my mom's been having many health ups and downs. Just when I think it will be good for awhile and we can relax she has something else that needs medical attention. It's a lot so my focus is pretty scattered.

We did take mom out to dinner yesterday (lunch/dinner really). She doesn't really want anything either. I bought her a cute stuffed baby turtle. It's super soft and she loves it. I bought her a t-shirt which should be here today that has a turtle on it and it says "not fast not furious". Mom's 90 and I love the idea of her wearing the shirt. lol

Mom and I went to the opening of the new red panda habitat at the zoo. They were so cute and comfy.

Sorry - missed your post somehow. Yeah, I always wonder what they do too! I have only sent back food a couple times, and only then because it was inedible. I like my steak pink in the middle but I just can't stand it bloody. Eww...

I was able to play more of Alan Wake 2 the last two days. It can get crazy. It goes from utter serious to NOW HERE'S A MUSICAL! And I got to playing the second Night Springs DLC (which you can access via the main menu or encounter naturally while playing the game) which revolved around mind controlling coffee. Switching back from that to the main game was some major whiplash XD

I'm the opposite. I need my steak rare with the cow crying out in the distance.

- I once went out ot eat with a friend who sent their salad back because they hadn't dried the veggies enough and the dressing was too watered down. rolls eyes I certainly wouldn't touch that after it came back. giggles Running off to read. :D
