Hmm. You know, ever since Defense was improved, I'm kinda noticing now that Strength and attacking...kinda sucks in comparison. xD I was looking at making a super high Str build and paltry other stats, but ran some calcs and I'm now a little unsure if it could function against Impossible opponents. Which sucks cause I wanted to make this build work, but as it stands for most high tier infinite use weapons being 40-45 icons max in attacking icons...the numbers just don't compare to the improvement Def got.
Build in question
22k Str
3k HP
5k Def
5k Spe
I know it could just be too early to tell right now if it's viable, the pet I'm planning with this is only a T6 atm. Any advice? is it too soon to ask for Purge to update weapons again but this time for their attacking icons lmao

What do consider super high strength?
See spoiler above in original post. I can never get across anything without some kind of additional addendum.

I wish I could go back in time..
I think the super low health will hurt you more than the low defense and speed. I do have pets with 5k defense/speed and they do fine but they have more health than what you are planning. Let us know how it works for you if you go with that build.
I think I'm gonna adjust it to 20k Str, and then 6k Def/Spe. If I treat him the same way I treat Okkoto, the low HPs won't be a problem.

Did someone say high strength?πIf you're wondering if a high strength build will work, check out my Glass Cannon pet Mannequin! I'm taking him almost all the way to 35000 strength (might leave 300-500 or so health, but undecided on the exact amount). He works so well I've even started another high strength build (this time with decently high speed)!

He currently has some health/def because I've been lazy about removing it after giving him tomes but even when he's at next to no health he's able to defeat a pretty decent amount of imp challengers, and through to lvl 30 of battle quests (some in the last level might need skipping, but he can defeat most). Very fun to battle with so I highly recommend a high strength build to anyone who's looking for an extra challenge with battling.
Tips and Later Tier Weapon Suggestions: For a high strength barely any health build, your main survivability is: Overhealing (e.g. for scrolls: morosbane, lucky, gift of the forj, and rage of the param. for scrolls; for weapons you need non-percent heals like the one ring, thunderball, shinwas lightning for its blessing. there's some others like oracles short sword and shinwas sacred bow (godly) but I haven't got either of those). Freezing (for scrolls: shrieks galore, perilous whirpool if you have low ap (make sure if it's a negative heal that it's by percent); for weapons: any full freeze for your first turn, again shinwas lightning full of freezing crystals.) Full blocks (for scrolls: really just rage of param. but you could play with void scrolls since you have a little health in your build; for weapons: shinwas temple shard and/or rainbow vortex (shard is better) and amulet of neutrality)
For your actual weapon(s) go for the most icons you can with eor crystals or freezing eor/marquise. Early on morosbane and lucky scrolls will be the heaviest hitters, pair them with a couple of bombs and whatever seems good in the tier, e.g. the gunblades (with enough AP to make them work well). Since your pet is at T6 then next tier try out two combo legends like spectre, stasis, and prehistoria, and then those plus sentinel once you hit T8, for that huge early on damage. Shengui Guo Purifying Staff at T10 is pretty fantastic, though since you have a little health in your build to play with you could maybe try some fun stuff like dual ballistas eventually. Since my own end goal is mega low health one hit means I'm out, but 3k health means you have decent leeway so you might want to mess around with the above weapons/scrolls because avoiding hits will be less vital. Even at 1500 health Mannequin can take a hit here and there.
Strategy: -Full block (shard or vortex) and 100% freeze on first turn. Then keep freezing. -If freeze is disabled (and also when opponents use lots of curses) then rely on your full blocks and overheals. Some imp. challengers will probably be permanently impossible because of freezing being disabled but you'll be able to beat enough to make the build worth it! -If it's a high damage opponent when your freezes run out do amulet of neutrality and thunderball (thunderball gives you multiple turns of 1000hp heals).
Most of this is probably stuff you already know/thought of but I've been itching to talk about Mannequin for while so I figured I'd type a more thorough list in case other people were also interested in the build.

Thank you! I just really want to make this crazy high strength build work for Hailfire cause it goes with his narrative. ;-; I've been kinda familiar with that style of battling thanks to Okkoto (whose gonna have 666 HP at the end of his build, but monstrous Str/Def, 15k/14k respectively) but atm I've just been pumping straight into Hail's Str stat and ignoring the other 3 primarily. xD

Well that's just neat. Wouldn't be for me because I want to get every tome and spell piece drop with every pet. Good to see how different people get fun from the BC.
Unrelated Oh Careaper day. I'm still grinding wrestler and Pylot wins. I'll have some fresh Tier 11s to beat it with next month though.

57 pets with the tome wins for all Impossible, Extremely Hard and Very Hard challengers.
Tomed my Tier 8s to Tier 10s. Now to use remaining tomes and see how many wins 10s can get and then grind out some books from the tiny challengers before they leave. - Ran out of time for that part but still got a lot done and had fun.
