At the moment I'm re-reading Eureka Seven, and Oyasumi punpun (quite intense, takes a while to get through), and then as far as watching: Kill la Kill and Beyond the Boundary. Kill la Kill is really great and interesting but oh man beyond the boundary is so cute and the animation is lovely! very refreshing :3
I'm currently re-reading Dragonball, not to be confused with DBZ. I guess I'm on an older anime/manga kick. Go figure.
As for the newer stuff...if you liked Cowboy Bebop, check out Space Dandy on Adult Swim's Saturday night Toonami block.

I'm reading through Jojos Bizarre Adventure again, start to finish! Want to keep ahead of the hopefully inevitable Steel Ball Run adaptation.
