that's definitely true! I'm thinking about maybe altering some of my jeans at some point, so they have elasticated waistbands instead of the really 'solid' ones that keep digging in :P
Whoa that's awesome to have a video message from one of the players on your favourite team :D (and the signed jersey as well!) :D :d

That would be an interesting project to take on. :D
Sure was. :O According to my das he has some connections so he was able to make it happen. :D Meant a lot to me. :)

that will definitely need to wait for when I have a lot of patience though! I did find a sewing pattern to make elasticated waist jeans (from stretch denim), so I might try making some from scratch at some point too ;) Then if you have a jumper or something over the waistband, nobody will know that they aren't regular buttoned jeans 😇
I bet it did! :D :d :d

Most of jumpers and shirts are long enough to hide any waistband. I am all about comfort. angel I plan on looking for a frame for the jersey now too. :D

what turned out okay? Your party? Keep reading
thats possible. Theres a lot of items on the site So on Tuesday i was cleaning and moved dads boots. I forgot about them and triped over them. In the process my ankle fell under me at nearly a 90 degree angle. I wasn’t able to move my toes so I thought they were broken. My doctor sent me for an xray and three toes are broken and there’s a fracture on the top of the foot near the ankle. He also suspects that i have a rupture or tear in my ligament
That could be quite fun finding a suitable frame for it :D And of course making sure you hang it somewhere you can see it, but where it isn't in direct sunlight where it might fade! According to the 'Aurorasaurus' website, there's a chance of seeing the Northern Lights once it's dark (assuming they continue at this level of course!) - it's still a bit far north for here, but you might get lucky ;)
aww that stinks :( Are they able to find out if there is a ligament tear, or is that all just done on guesswork from the doctor? And I guess there's some kind of taping or boot or something that's required for the breaks & fracture? squishes

yes he can do an mri. But we are going to wait for at least two weeks. Because sometimes swelling makes it harder to see problems. And I also have to make sure Dad and mum agree do getting the order going for it. So we'll see. But at the moment the cast will help. Oh lol yeah I'm in a cast. The foot rolled in the boot so there's no way they could leave it as it was. He also splinted (with cloth) the three broken toes, and used the casting material to set them in place so I can't move the toes and they heal as straight as possible.
The party was a success. People loved the cakes and there was a lof chatting as usual. :) So sorry you hurt yourself cleaning. :squishes gently: I hope you will heal well.
That might be more tricky. Finding a spot where the sun won't fade the jersey. Will have to think about it. :) I did see some great pictures from the northern lights, but I was not able to see it myself. One of these days... lol

Ah that makes sense with the swelling, although that's a long wait to find out! I guess at least with a cast then you can't have any more damage, but that sounds pretty uncomfortable again :K I can't imagine the mri comes cheap either!
My Dad can't bend two of his toes (he tripped over a slightly raised manhole cover), but when he got it checked out, they said his wasn't a break, but there was something with the ligaments (I think) which mean he can't now bend those toes o.O
(Spoiler just in case you made a similar thing for Lene that hasn't arrived yet)

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
....in case you hadn't guessed, my presents arrived today laughs
The spoon is brilliant, and the bag looks equally amazing :D I don't think there's a risk of not having enough space to put everything in the bag! :D :D :D squishes :D :D

thats great!! Thanks. Its pretty sucky
yep. It’s uncomfortable, hard to walk and painful lol. In other words, it bites lol
Huh that sounds not fun
SPOILER (click to toggle)
oh thats awesome that it arrived! Im really glad you liked the spoon xd. Hehe the bag is that prototype i mentioned. I was pretty pleased how it turned out. Its a bit labour intensive but its got interfacing in as well so it should be suitably strong. Plus the removable straps means you can change them out if you wish. Its modelled after a favourite book bag purse i had years ago lol but this can fit hardbacks xd
I bet. Especially after everything you have already been through. Make sure to take it easy. How is the furbabies doing?

I guess at least you can't do any more damage to everything, but that's about the only smidge of positive I can think of!
I'm looking forward to being able to try it out (just need the opportunity to head somewhere! laughs) :D
I love the HA today, by the way :D
(no idea why I keep missing your pings o.O) I even saw pictures from beaches on the south coast here .... but of course I was too sleepy to get the camera set up to try taking photos (I think for here, there's a lot more chance of seeing the northern lights on camera, than by eye) 😊

lemme tell you, i have new appreciation for anyone that has ever broken a bone
Everyone is doing well. Except for allergies. Poor Melody is allergic to pollen so bad that she even gets rashes when it touches her.
lets not jinx me lol My violin teacher said at least it wasn’t my arm lol.
Lol good luck finding somewhere to go
Aw thank you. Yours is great too
Having your camera set up and ready to go might be useful. :D I downloaded an app, but no luck still. lol It is on my bucket list. xD
I broke my finger as a kid, I thought that was bad enough. lol But badly spraining two other fingers hurt just about as much. Poor Melody. Give him some extra treats and pets from me.

well there is that! And I guess you can play the violin sitting down rather than having to stand to get the best angle? I know for wind instruments they recommend you stand, although in school 'orchestra' (just a group of about 8 of us that could play an instrument) we were all sitting, regardless of what instrument we played :P
Mine was more a case of layering multiple backgrounds until Niamh finally was happy with it 😇
I try to keep the camera charged at least, as it'd be guaranteed to be fantastic conditions when the battery is totally dead otherwise :P Apparently this year is still meant to be a 'good' year for the aurora as it's the solar maximum or something like that :P but when it gets to the summer we have less chance of seeing it as the nights aren't dark enough here :K

Would be the same here I suspect. It does not get very dark at night during the summer. :K If everything fails, I guess another trip to Iceland is in order, and hope for better luck. 👼

sprains and breaks are no joke. Any sign of your parcel yet? It should not be too much longer. I hope
Or even heading to northern areas of Norway maybe - there'd be a higher chance of seeing the aurora from there I would've thought.... although admittedly there's probably a much higher chance from Iceland! ;)

Writing was awkward for a while there, since I broke/sprained fingers on my dominant hand. lol Nothing yet... I am hoping this week! I am curious, dammit!
:nods: I don't live in the best area, but it should be possible. :) It just looks so pretty and magical on the pictures I have seen.

I never got a ping for you o.0 no wonder why you didn't reply...
yes, I do play sitting down because I can't really stand that long. most violinist sit for a long session because you typically sit in orchestra and stand doing a solo, so a violinist should be able to play both ways.
well it worked :D
I can imagine. Hope it arrives soon. i'm curious to know how you like everything
