I saw a video where a lady who had lost her hearing and was getting an implant which would restore it. She started crying when she realised she could hear the voices of her mother and partner. Then her partner pulled out a small box and said that one of the first things he wanted her to hear were the words: will you marry me? I smiled for ages afterwards.
Seeing in movies, how gunfire can be useless at best.
Watching the stand up of Eddie Izzard. I always end up laughing for hours after. :)
Learning more about characters mine like, such as Gabriela from Work it out Wombats. Mine like her more now, ❤
Beautiful Philippine Eagle!
seeing dogs at work always makes me smile

Discovering a new artist whose work I really enjoy. It's so good to find something new that helps me think, be inspired or just chill out.
It doesn't happen much anymore, hearing about diamond anniversaries and beyond.
After loosing my job at the start of the summer I have a way better job offer than my last place. I haven't stopped smiling since I got the call. :)
A simple pleasure today, getting to drive mine car again, after a week's wait for its driver's seat belt to arrive. And a short installation later, be able to feel a properly working restraint.
I tend to smile when I read marketing claims on products like driveway concrete that won't let weeds grow or shadow stickers for windows which will keep the room cool. I end up thinking: "You think your product you invented in the last 100 years at most is going to best 500 million years of evolution and the star that has powered the planet for as long as it has been a planet? Can't wait to hear your answer to why it doesn't work." I think it's the sheer level of arrogance that makes me laugh.
Mine got a good dose of smile sauce when an online order came in, a southpaw'd wireless trackball mouse. Mine was unsure if it were compatible with mine Chromebook, being specifically pegged as Windows/iOs usable.
But it does work, to mine knowledge in all functions mine need. Perhaps with some experiments mine can learn it's full range.
Reading in bed after I've woken up. Not for long, but I enjoy just ignoring the world for a bit before I get breakfast and get going.
Mine saw a most unusual thing this morning, a small cactus had blossomed again. Mine not sure if this kind can do that, or if the weather has sparked an off season reaction.
Still mine raised an eyebrow, one flower in the garden...
Parties with my friends. As we're all D&D fans and have to be up early for work, our parties always involve mages, warriors, stories, adventure and occationally a dragon. It's always fun. :)
For al it's dirty, frustrating, an slow progress, a good engine cleaning. Mine spent an hour scraping and brushing a few mms worth of caked on grime from mine car's underside. The goal is to get it clean enough to find the likely source of a coolant leak.
Mine could use more of this moxie, especially during the parts of the day not dedicated to classwork.
Autumn makes me smile. I'm so happy it's almost here! :D

Mine was given a word of advice by someone who gknows, a way to remove the needles on cactus fruit is to use a local shrub we call "Gobernadora", mine will look into where mine can get some to try this. And will remember this to try on nest year's harvest
