A night when sleep comes without incident.

(Not tonight, bloody late night garage work...)

Getting home after a long day to comfort food and my room. Just being able to lie down with a full tummy and feel safe and peaceful always makes me smile.

today i picked the last mirabelles off of our tree. We got a whole basket full of beautiful fresh fruit. They're small and round and yellow with a red blush on one side. I look forward to snacking them :)

Today is a cold, grey, rainy day. Mine not in a foul mood, but mine can savor it al the same.

I complimented a stranger’s hair today and she grinned real big and flipped it back and forth proudly.

Talking to friends about nostalgia, and one of them understands mine mentioning Voltron vehicle force.

Seems like everyone only remembers lion force.

Seeing our vegtable crops coming up for harvesting. We have so many years where they just don't do well, but they're really growing this year.

A bank deposit from an anticipated source.

Mine found that a few minutes ago, after being sent two. One from a sibling for a favor, and from federal student aid. Mine end of month woes are put to rest, and can attend the beginning of class with full resources.

The rain over the horizon is also is a welcome sight, desert dwellers can appreciate this.

Helping someone who hasn't been well feel better.

Oddly mine like blackouts, for a few minutes to a couple of hours mine is freed from modern conveniences and their hold on mine mind.

Just like when mine moved into where mine live now, no power, no phone, no distractions. Just left to occupy mine mind and hands with more practical endeavors.

Listening to people enjoy their interests and the joy that comes with sharing them.

A rain storm dropping enough to soak in under five minutes.

The one out here now is right there, but mine managed to get in after three, still soaked.

The thunder is a big plus...maybe a blackout is in store.

Tonight's first class, after the infernal summer and four months of drudgery mine can put some time to good use.
