Mine found out that a part service mine ordered included some action on mine part. Tho mine believe the order information may not be immediately available, mine was supposed to send the part on mine dime, and would be repaired on site where the shop is located.

Zo, mine can still do that, but will have to wait a few days. It'll be cutting close to the beginning of the semester, but mine gknow the delay shouldn't take much time off.

The main concern is still the engine issue, mine may get a more informed result about it. The clock ticks, mine would want the solution to be within mine ability and budget.

Our A/C is working overtime! Heat has come back full force here, and humidity is so high, it's unbearable to be outside. August in the Midwest is when we set record temps, and am thankful for the rain we have had this Summer! WAY better than the last two years combined, that's for sure.

What classes are you taking this semester?

Mine will attend two this semester, Engine Performance II, and Electrical Systems. The former is an evening course, and the latter is a weekend class.

Mine taking some semesters on federal aid, an if successful may finish before the end of 2024.

Been out al day helping a friend with his F-150, a thermostat replacement. It was one delay after another, and the whole thing was because of an incorrect part. Bloody hell!

It's been a rollercoaster ride for sure, but have had some great results from the last round of CAR T! Still doing chemo and palliative radiation, but I am eating now, and slowly gaining weight back, so that is a plus. Training a new service dog, so that has been interesting, and oh so fun. lol Sadie is retiring, yet she loves to train with Bernie. She is still doing some trips with me, since it will be at least another year before Bernie is fully trained in what I need him to do. Life is super chaotic, and I don't get here as much as I want to, but it sure is fun when I am here! :D

Got some research to do, mine want to gknow the effects of blow-by on exhaust and engine performance. Mine friend suggested the leak could foul the catalytic converter and/or the O2 sensors. Which may interfere with the engine's intake inputs from the exhaust output.

This could be as complicated as the timing chain, the replacement of piston rings also requires engine removal. The worst could be a converter replacement as well, not a low cost option in any case.

Mine will also ask mine youngest brother for his opinion, he gknows this car better than mine does.

Mine can memorize 40 character passwords, odd details from twenty years ago, and even technical data, yet mine misplaced mine digital multimeter for two weeks. Mine only noticed when mine was conducting electrical tests on mine car last shop.

An mine did find it, this afternoon. Mine had left it in mine dad's truck, an will do well to check it's functionality.
