dropping by to say hi and send over some positive vibes! hope ya'll are doing well! <3
Mine been shut-in for most of today, bloody inferno is still over 100° and full sun.
Maybe in an hour mine can march out to see how the critters are doing.
Mine also tinkered with a manual transmission, mine gknow it's manual by moving the selectors to see the individual gears. Reverse was hardest to find, tho mine have yet to even take a wrench to open it up.
love the vibes!
I hope you enjoy your gift. You have such mechanical talent. It’s taken me many years to appreciate my own gifts. I used to say anyone could do this until I started to appreciate what I myself was given.
Hugs are the BEST!!!! Hugs you back (30 seconds hug)
Mine made a snap decision this morning about putting control on this bad habit that still plagues mine mind. Mine will simply stay off mine laptop until 18:00. Mine could also keep the router off, since any access could spark a landslide.
It will make for difficult spans of time throughout the day, but that is small compared to opening the floodgates. Mine also better off asking for help to stop, than to ask for forgiveness after the fact. Mine does not feel much is being missed, it still seems like this place is only 1/3 full...
Mine will make the most of it, it's not like anyone wants to watch mine do it.
Praying you can find some relief that you seek to the online issue you are dealing with. <3 Was it any cooler today? We got down to 85, after a week with 95 and above. Not looking forward to true Summer.....this body does NOT take kindly to heat. lol
- I love your lil giraffe siggy! Too cute!
Mine gknow part of the solution is to limit or eliminate the source, tho mine not keen on the sanctioned alternative...
Mine have been out on 90+ days to earn eating money, and usually those days are full sun with no wind. Zo, mine take the usual precautions, lotso water, sunscreen, etc. The days mine does stay home, the A/C runs with limited effect. The real heat has been here since May, go fig...
Do you have any alternative activities that you could do (without having to pass out from the heat) in place of online time? I sure hope that the Summer offers more rainfall this year, than the major droughts we had last year. That was brutal with all the heat - crops and animals do not fare well in all that mess. Hoping ya get some reprieve from excessive heat there! o.O
Well what a sweetheart! <3 Did ya name him? hehehe
Mine have few options to use mine time, and going out is not something mine can do every day. Any activity has to be stretched out or delayed for a more opportune time.
Mine should be careful about wishing for rain, out here flooding is a real worry.
oh, actually i never asked him if he had a name, hold on...
he said his name is sammy. :p
Well, I am praying with you, my brother, that you will find something to occupy your mind and hands. <3 I hear ya about the rain - our entire town was flooded in 2019, and a lot of businesses and homes were destroyed. We have since rebuilt a lot, but it still is a concern. Never more than two weeks away from a drought, and 2 minutes from a flood, as my husband is apt to saying. :O Some folks might poo poo the global warming theory, but it sure looks real from my end.
- AWW!!! What an awesome name! I love it! Hi there, Sammy! Thank you for spreadin' the luuuuurve! <3<3
Thank you for your support, this kind of poisoning isn't cured like a snake bite.
You are so welcome. If there's anything else I can do to help, let me know.
Not sure if others seeing is the criterion; you do so much for others, I am sure that feels good. In many many recovery programs doing for others is the way to heal, to be whole, to o feel better. Learning about ourselves that it’s good and okay to also help ourselves in the same way. It’s all part of wholeness. Sounds to me like you are on the correct path.
Not enough hugs around, in my humble opinion. I hugged some teenagers yesterday who were in my class in 1-2 grade. It was fun to see their reactions. :-)
Hello there! Waving vigorously ~~~~
I agree with you wholeheartedly! <3 I bet your students loved the expression of caring you gave!
True, mine clients don't usually sit and watch, but mine can see their appreciation for a job well done.
An example is from a few days ago, my friend asked for help on his dad's minivan. It's parking brake was engaging on it's own. Mine inspected both rear brake assembly, and found that the driver's side was difficult to turn. That told mine the parking brake shoes needed adjustment. That mine did, and afterward the problem had been resolved. Mine also suggested a replacement of the rear rotors, because of wear. He needed to see the problem when mine reproduced the symptom.
Mine still thinking about removing the crankshaft position sensor, tho the first attempt had been thwarted by cramped space. Zo, the nest option is to raise the car and attack the problem from below. Mine believe the best approach is to remove the starter motor...which means mine will have to disconnect the battery.
: That sounds nice. Good luck with your next semester! :D And your new niece, once again.
Mine appreciate your praise, the nest semester is a second take on evening and weekend classes. The advantage is mine will not have to request any changes for scheduling. Tho fall is until the end of Avgust, mine have received a check from the college for expenses. Mine will have to show restraint to not spend that money, until classes begin.
Mine will try to be more open to taking a chance to cradle mine niece when an opportunity comes. Seems like not long ago mine first niece came along...
