- that all makes sense. I forget that when you stream netflix you can't do other stuff on your laptop. I didn't even think about the pixel count on the tv. And here I gripe about sighted people and I'm doing the same thing. lol I hope you were able to get a tv that at least did what you needed it to do. :D Ok, I see what a lap apron is. I've seen those before just didn't realize they were called that. :)

- yeah, that's also a factor. Shoot, before I got sick I carried around a messenger bag full of stuff that I "might" need. Now I'm wondering what I was thinking because the bag weighs a ton. Now I have a little "Groot" purse from Marvel that is big enough for my wallet, keys, and phone and that's it. :D <3

- I'm doing ok. Staying off my feet for now. We're going to do the scary movie bit tonight. See if we can finally scare my youngest. He is the hardest person to scare! 😆

that sounds awful, all the sympathy! (sorry the TV you used to have didn't work with the new service, they really should have told you that or brought you a converter box!)

we stopped using the TV at all like 8-10 years ago (we still have an incredibly heavy one pre-flat screen sitting in the living room no one ever turns it on but also no one wants to carry it anywhere to dispose of it) and watch all our video on the computers. My desktop has 2 screens, so I can do anything I want on one screen while watching a TV show on the other!

- your situation is similar to ours. We cut the cable 7 years ago and haven't looked back. We do everything on our laptops. We do have a smart tv, though, that is connected to Netflix, Disney+, the PlayStation Network, and the Nintendo thingy for my son's Switch. Like yours, my tv is almost never turned on. Lately it has been, though, to stream the Halloween shows while we do stuff onnline. None of us is as sophisticated as you are with your fancy two computer screens... :P 😂

most video cards now have multiple connectors so it's really easy to do! just... buy a 2nd monitor and use one of the adapters to make it fit into a different connection port.

Then there's some setup to do on the computer to tell it which monitor is on the left or whatever, but it's simple enough!

I think it's kinda cute so no worries :) I'm chill. The telly is great. I'm happy to keep up with my streaming and all. In fact, I'm about to go back to my cross stitching now :) trying to finish this extremely ambitious gift for Christmas. It's a lot bigger than I realised. You know, you hear 27x18 and you don't really sit to think about exactly how big 27 inches is. LOL this is the size of a freaking telly. I've been working on it four 4 and 1/2 months... I'm not sure if everyone calls them lap aprons. LOL, its just what I've always called 'em.

I got them for a while then my insurance ran out so I was out of luck but it's okay, thank you. It's tough because I'll being doing great, having a good day then suddenly out of nowhere I'm super depressed and anxious and being triggered by everything and then after a bit I'm back to normal. It's very exhausting :( but I'll be okay ^^

Haha yeah it was and now it's almost 70 again, but it's November which means it could snow at anytime :D

Thank you things are getting better and I had a great Halloween. We finally watched Scream (We put it off the night before so we did it last night) and then watched a cute family halloween movie that was on netflix then we watched some short horror films on youtube till we went to bed ^^ I paint, draw and I am attempting digital art again, but it's been years so I'm a little rusty but I'm getting there :)

The time goes by so fast!! 26 years later I can still remember the moment of being home with Liz for the first time and it feels like it was only a few years ago. 😳 OMG I knew you would get it! I was so irritated and mad. Although, I am kind of proud of myself for overcoming it and proceeding with the day mostly unmad.

Did you get a lot of trick or treaters? How did the kids like the non sweets gifts?

I was diagnosed with both bipolar and bpd at the mental hospital I was sent to a couple years ago for an attempt. I had been struggling for years, the start of everything in 2020 didn't help with the isolation. It wasn't the first time a psychologist had suggested the possibility of me having one or the other but I was never diagnosed till the hospital due to they weren't familiar enough with either to choose until I was seen by two different doctors at the hospital one being trained in mood disorders and the other in personality disorders and they worked together and decided I was both and I was medicated and it was amazing. I felt sane for once, I wasn't so tired from everything. But now it's starting to get worst but I have coping skills given to me by therapists that I'm using to hopefully I can hold out till I get insurance to get at least some medication (I don't want all I was on, I was on like six medications but I think theres two or three that would work just to keep myself on a more steady baseline level so I'm not on a roller coaster all the time without being a zombie on them)

Yeah it was great ^^ And yeah I'm just worried I'm too old to get into the digital art world, I didn't do art until I was an adult due to my mom not wanting me to and even then I didn't do art regularly due to mental health issues and stuff and now I'm almost 30 and I feel like all the good artists are young and doing art since they were kids or people who've been doing art for like 20+ years

Oh gosh, noooo! That's poppycock! Age has no limit when it comes to art <3 You should do it and not worry about that :3 As long as you're enjoying!

We had a bunch, but no one wanted the coloring books. Still, I like having them around just in case!
