It's just my boyfriend and I for Thanksgiving dinner (we are going to his friend's house for Thanksgiving lunch in a little while), but he really likes side dishes so we always have an abundance of those even though it's just us two. The sweet potato casserole and potato salad are personal sides for me. My boyfriend doesn't like sweet potatoes (he can't have them dressed with brown sugar, etc., because it bothers his stomach) so we have mashed potatoes for him. I personally love mashed sweet potatoes, especially with lots of cinnamon and brown sugar.
