i'm suspecting the discord. honestly not too impressed that things are being shown on the discord before the main game. not a fan of joining an off site discord since i have seen how hideous others can be to others. count me out on that shit.

I'm in the Discord and there's been no mention of any new Subeta currency there that I've seen, though it gets very active at times and it's entirely possible I just missed it. I've also not seen any news posted there super early, for that matter. It's literally just another chat room, you're not missing anything by not joining.

We already have quest points as currency. I don’t want more currencies because it just becomes a pain. I would just try balancing other aspects of the game first and if they don’t work then you go from there. I still think fixing the shops stock for example is at least a starting place. We have more items on this site than users x2 at least.

It's been nearly a month of having this buying slow down implemented... if anything, it's only gotten more annoying. I get the concern with the auto-pricing and people snapping up items, but I run into this issue while just questing. Forget doing something like the Autumn Dragon.

In addition, I am someone who sometimes buys lowly priced items. There are a lot of rare items that are just priced too low for their rarity. To clarify, I am not setting my prices low in an effort to rip off those who use the AP. I'm just fixing items whose prices have massively deflated through the course of the slow economy. If I find a rarity 80 item selling for 3k, I'm going to buy it up and try to restore it to a better price... but now that's horribly time consuming, having to start and stop and start and stop. However, without some price fixing, won't these items just continue to deflate since we don't have near enough users?

Like others have mentioned, this seven item block seems to fix one thing by making worse several others.

Also I know I'm late to the discussion. I'm normally very satisfied being a ghost (I'm not sure if I've really posted in the last five years) but, like I mentioned, this issue has been grating me and I wanted to share my opinion.

Hiya. Any chance this topic will be addressed at all by staff? With Fireside here, we once again have an achievement that requires having hoarded items during the year OR buying up lots of items now i.e. Donate 5000 foods to Charity. With this new wait timer, it has become increasingly difficult and time consuming to do this. Additionally, currencies still take ages upon ages to buy.

It would be great if staff could fix this by implementing some of the great suggestions in this thread or at least lift the wait time for the holiday… This is so tedious.

Gosh… I hate to say this, but the longer we have to put up with this, the more it feels like we’re just getting empty promises for a change that’s never gonna happen, ya know? Like, if this is truly it and there’s no intentions for the limit to be lifted or increased whatsoever, I wish we could just be told so. Some disappointing closure is better than waiting with hope that get more and more bitter as time goes on. That’s how I feel, anyways.

Fireside is almost over. It's been over 2 months of this. It's clear almost everyone hates this. It's solved none of the problems it was meant to. It's created new problems. It's been promised to be looked at/changed/removed several times. And yet... Nothing has changed. This is becoming absurd and quite frankly insulting. How long would this take to change? It can't be more than 3 lines of code, just delete it and try again later when you've really looked at the numbers and put proper thought into it instead of some hastily thrown together stopgap.

October 7th, Galaxia: 'and we don't want to act hastily.' Not when it comes to fixing problems no. (Weekend quest issue also still isn't fixed, 3 weeks later) But creating them? Like the Flash... (Mostly Keith, since I know Galaxia is trying.) Can we please get something of substance here? Making a mistake is one thing, but refusing to admit it was a mistake and stubbornly continuing into a brick wall is another....

I pretty much assume nothing will get done about this cause what's decided is done and we just have to deal with it. =/

I really hope that's not the case, but that'd be incredibly insulting. And scummy. And wrong. And many other words I won't use... :x

I respect the fact that things are in the works but Subeta doesn't have the best track record with getting any projects out in a timely manner. The longer term solutions doesn't mean much right now when this current short term solution is really affecting player experience right now.

We're going be stuck with 7 items for months, maybe years based on history.

Really appreciate this follow up post and your reply detailing all the things that staff are working on and juggling while trying to think of a better way to combat this economy issue. I think it’s safe to say, we all appreciate how hard you guys work and that this balance isn’t easy.

But I think the bottom line that we’re trying to get across is that, clearly this process is going to take awhile and we understand that. In the meantime, we’re asking if you can turn this 7 item limit timer off? It’s just not the proper solution to this issue and it’s frustrating to boot. And it seems like Keith is too busy to make adjustments to it. It’s been two months and nothing has changed.

I understand that it takes time and all that. But coming up with a proper fix could take months if not years. In the meantime, could this wait time be removed? Cause it's clearly not working and having undesirable effects. I'm all for experimenting, but if experimenting means doing something and then sticking with it no matter how many users hate it, Ima be against it...
