Mine will eat carrots raw if we have them and sometimes with ranch which is great LOL wherever I can sneak them in is fabulous :)

- i was very proud of myself. i didn't even cry when we sang happy birthday to him. not even the next day. in fact, i haven't cried since last wednesday. i'm on a streak! lmao but the lag is kicking my butt. had a bet with hubby that it would start this weekend and wouldn't ya know... o.O

- it is a generic series name. i had him look it up by that first and he pulled up some 3 pages of results. i had him click into the first one and the first book in the series happened to be named "ruin of kings". i had him check a few others but none had the same name to the first book. then he told me i already owned the first 2 books. rofl i don't think i've ever completely forgotten i've owned books before. this is a new experience. 😀

- well, i'm happy in my child-induced stupidity. i know you are, too. so, with we'll all be one happy group watching as all the other parents suddenly realize they lost their smarts too... 😂 soon, we'll rule the world!

- and that fleeting feeling of "thankfulness" won't fade away like our intellects... come, sit with me and @ colorful and watch the other parents as they realize they're doomed, too. :D - i didn't know that. i have always been told that the only thinkg you can do to raise your blood sugar is eat something sweet. i never knew there were medicines for it. guess that was a blind spot in my education as i've never had to deal with low blood sugars until recently with the adjustment of my meal time and base insulins. aside from the grossness, are you healing? is it getting any better for you? i really hope so. :D hugs ❤

I agree that it's just easier to go with foods they'll eat. Lucky for me Liz does like most veggies. Talking about carrots, I've been roasting baby carrots and those are her current favs. Years ago I had a cookbook with all sorts of ways to sneak veggies into foods for picky eaters. :-D

I'm so proud of you!! :-) I'm not sure if I had the lag or not. It was acting weird yesterday morning but I just thought it was my PC. And it was only for a short time and has been surprisingly fine since. So weird!

haha true that! Like the older kids (stepkids and my son) they get what we are eating tough cookies LOL! Some days one kid is happy other days the other one is...I'm lucky my son LOVES whatever I cook and loves veggies so win win....my daughter is less picky than her stepsiblings so I'm grateful for that at least, she likes raw baby carrots and sometimes green beans but luckily ALL the kids love fresh salad with ranch so that's nice :D I should totally find a recipe for like brownies but with like broccoli or something crazy like that and then tell them AFTER they've eaten it and loved it snorts

LOL! Broccoli Brownies sounds like a good recipe! ;-) Green beans are good too. I roasted up a huge bag of them last week and all gone now. And let's face it ranch is good. :-D

haha well the trick is like maybe freeze drying them/powdering them and then sneaking them into brownies LOL :P without them noticing the green haha :) Mmm I just planted my green beans outside in a raised bed with some zucchini plants and some marigolds (these help apparently with like common pests for both plants) so we'll see what happens :D Got some potatoes in bags too :P and need to transfer my tomato plants outside as I'm planning on trying to can some salsa's and spaghetti sauces/pastes whatever this year too LOL never canned before but I want to make sure we've got stuff canned just in case lol the world is crazy so want to be prepared haha :) not that I have enough for like the year or anything as I've never canned or anything so I'm sure I probably don't have enough stuff planted lol :P but I'll learn from this year for next year maybe :) mmm roasted green beans sound delicious :D and ranch IS super good :D I like mixing mine with french on salads

carbs are good too. You want something like simple sugars to get out of danger but then you want something with carbs and complex sugars to sustain your body and help prevent it from going too low. Mum's been diabetic for like 20 some odd years and I also had a friend who was hypoglycaemic.
I'm not sure yet. I guess it'll be seeing it when I go back for my next appointment. I think he says it looks good.

That's a great idea to freeze dry and powder. I dehydrate kale and powder and use it in smoothies. My hubs always puts marigolds in our mini garden with tomato plants. A few years ago tomatoes and onions were upsetting my stomach and I didn't eat either for almost a year - so then hubs didn't grow toms last year and he didn't plant any this year. :-( Wahhh!! Ranch is good but not my fav. Although it's my current salad dressing. And funny enough Liz has been eating honey mustard on her salads lately. I guess drinking a small container with her chips every night is enough ranch. :-D :-D How's the Boss Baby doing? :-)

ohhh yeah kale is a GREAT idea :D I'll have to add it to the list to do cause that one is super good too :) and smoothies is always nice :) And yeah I didn't realize about marigolds but I'll take any help I can get! oh man no tomatoes for a year? they ARE pretty acidic though so I can see why it might have upset a tummy :( Ranch isn't my favorite either :P I like this weird one that I have to order online cause we live in a rural area...its Annie's natural's shiitake mushroom and its like my FAVORITE...love it so much LOL :) when I do ranch though I'll do ranch/french just cause its fun :P and ohh I'm not sure I'm a fan of honey mustard LOL but I could see boss baby liking it cause she likes that on her chicken stuff so why not? :P Boss Baby is good...she only slept like 7 hours and I was still sleeping but hubs said she's been super cranky today LOL so she'll go down easy enough :o And we are in a tornado watch for another 8 hours or so...lol SO much fun :o

Annie's natural's shiitake mushroom sounds delicious and now I need to check it out. I put a wierd concoction on my salads - when I'm not using ranch my usual is Skinny girl Poppy Seed dressing and a tablespoon (or so) of Lay's onion dip (it makes any dressing taste good lol) and some salsa. Poor bebe only getting 7 hours of sleep. For me that would be great but for kids it's not enough. I hope she goes down easy and sleeps better tonight!! Tornado watch? Stay safe!!! 🙏

its sooooooo amazing! My mom got me addicted to it like 10 years ago...if you are in a more popular area you might see it at grocery stores and traders joes...but since we moved rural nada so I have to order online. I bought 10 last time for like 35...totally worth it LOL! and I think onion dip anything probably can make anything taste good haha! Thank goodness for seasonings :D yeah, she was like wide awake ready to go and poor hubs...she was quite cranky for him LOL! She passed out at the counter so I put her in bed...let her have her kindle fire for a bit but I think she'll pass out very shortly lol but at least its a watch and not a warning which is when you have to really worry LOL XD
