- I didn't think there was trickery. I was just misunderstanding the quotes and was thinking that perhaps the Discord had info I didn't (to be honest, I don't read the comments sections or much of the forums so I had very little knowledge of anything haha).
The only thing Discord has is the undisputable truth that those blank items are named Larry. And they have feelings.
There is no debate.
How do you do, fellow battlers? I finally capped my first pet! It's weird though, there's an achievement for it and apparently I already got it? The achievement says 22k stats and I now have 35k. I guess they raised the cap but didn't change the achievement, idk.
So now that I've already gone and done it, I ask you more knowledgeable folks, what's your opinion on how I distributed his stats? I never see capped pets with even numbers like this but maybe that's because people didn't want to mess with leeches (so many leeches, ugh). Or maybe this just isn't the best. I suspect there isn't just one ideal build though. I'm training up a few more pets and there's still plenty of time to do things differently with them. I'm a really slow trainer so I'm sure it'll be years before I cap another one.
Moritat Level: 4,002 Strength: 10,000 Defense: 7,000 Speed: 6,000 Health: 12,000
I really like the build. I have a similar one.
I think the “even build” you’re referring to is being all at perfect x000, and that’s because you stop getting exp if you’re perfectly capped. So most people tick a stat down one so they can get exp still.
Thanks for the feedback. So what's the reason for caring about getting more exp? In case they raise the cap again? Is that at all likely, you think?
People also care about the exp if you plan to make drastic changes to the build. Leech off 500 stats here, and use banked exp there. It may not happen, but I guess the logic is rather than poofing the exp into the void, it may as well go somewhere. Also everyone likes seeing numbers go up.
That makes sense. I don't plan on making any big changes though; if I end up not happy with it, I'll just train my next one differently. No more leeches for this guy lol
You Won! You have defeated Crawbeast
You won a(n) Impossible token to use in the battle shop!
Gremlin earned 3500 EXP Points!
Hello to all! I have a t12 getting close to t13 Is there a comprehensive training guide? I don't know where to go from here to get to t13 I still use the training center which seems useless and very long so I assume I need to use stat boosters to gain? But what should I boost? Any help would be appreciated! Level: 2035 Health: 5105 / 5105 Strength: 5124 Defense: 4752 Speed: 4665 Intelligence: 3460 AP: 216 Tier: 12 To Next Tier: 19646 / 22001
ps. I realize that battle quests are also what I 'should' be doing daily, so bad at that. I really need to force myself to do those daily. Once I have capped and/or reach t13 do I battle quest with my next pet down? etc. Thanks! pps. Also need to battle more challengers !! Need those weapon drops
First establish your end goals. What do you hope to achieve? If you want to just cap your pet for the sake of capping a pet, then you can give it whatever stats you want to get there. By the time you get to 35k stats, your pet should be able to beat every opponent 10 times without an issue unless you do something like invest 20k stats into speed. You don't need that much speed and it takes away your ability to gain other stats. Limiting factors become the strength of your armory and your own knowledge of battling once you get close to the cap.
What is your goal here? Do you want multiple battle pets? Do you want your second pet to hit x tier in the next month? Next year? Do you want x pets to hit y tiers for the next battle event?
My goal is to win all the battles! My battle knowledge is limited as is my weapon set (something I am trying to work on) I am training 9 pets for top(ish) battling I have 16 other pets that I plan on training to t6 (for now)
For the 9 pets, in my mind I have a cap on how much I will spend on intel/ap...
and I will spend up to about 1mil on books etc. and the rest I have capped at 100k spent on books (might up it to 500k) I know ap is very important for chain freezing! I am still working on this too, finding and reading books...
Other than that shrug I should concentrate on strength and health? Thanks!
Win all the battles as in HST farming? Win 10 battles on every opponent? What do you consider top battling? How soon do you want to have your second pet reach x tier? Are you trying to keep to a budget?
The reason why I'm asking all these questions is because they could have different answers depending on what you want. There is no one right answer on how to battle and train your pet. If you find your pet is dying quickly, you could add more health, get better weapons or get more speed so opponents don't crit you. If you're battling on a budget because you have so many pets to train, then investing in health could also be the answer so you can take more hits with budget weapons.
HST farming? I was farming during the Gelatin War for the vials. It was important to me to get the core for this war and so happy I finally accomplished that! My first core. Took a long time to get my main pet strong enough. Definitely win 10 on every opponent for achievements and loot drops. I am not sure what my exact budget is but trying not to go broke? I have a few decent weapons (I think) but need more. You have given me a lot to consider... Perhaps I should back off on training 9 pets and just worry about my top 3 pets? idk I'm assuming I have to dump a lot of sp into boosting
HST farming is just like what you did with the golems- try to get as many wins as possible with one pet. However, if your goal is really to get as many boosters as easy as possible, you could have 5 T12 pets get 100 wins instead of 1 capped pet get 500 wins. Hope that example makes sense!
That sounds like a better idea. Once you get a second pet higher up in tiers, that pet could start winning boosters to either use on itself or to help train the next pet in line. It sounds like what you want is to maximize on loot, not necessarily to have a top 100 ranked pet. If that's the case, I would take a look at some of the recommended weapon guides and identify any weapons and scrolls you may be missing. Once you have those or good alternatives to those, then you should have an idea of what stats your pet needs to beat all opponents. Heath - higher buffer to absorb damage from crit hits or unblocked damage Strength - more effective damage per turn to end battles faster Defense- more effective defense to take less blocked damage in long battles Speed - avoid enemy crit hits
Most people go with higher health than anything else because you can't block opponent hits 100% of the time. How much you need is up to you because the more you invest in health, the less you can invest in other stats.
Once you are happy with your main pet (you might find him comfortably beating all opponents way before the cap), then start giving your second pet BQs. Decide what is a comfortable amount of pets you can handle battling and farming with before you start dumping boosters on all your other pets. You can always slowly train them in the training center until you are ready to focus on them.
I wish there was another way to obtain . Its a great wearable, but everyone who earns one obviously upgrades to the Cronus Blade, which is also spectacular but a little harder to work into a design.
- Yeah, and Baal is also a pretty good weapon on it's own too. I really wish that weapons that they put into combos, like Baal and Gelatin Concoction were available for higher achievement tiers as well, so 'you can have your cake and eat it too' essentially.
@ KiaArra Yes, exactly. And since the Gelatin Concoction was added, why not throw Baal into the Fanciful Loot Box too?
edit:
- It's not a perfect solution, but at least it would get more out there. Super Slappy Hand is in the same situation. I don't love it cus it could set a precedent for other limited prizes to be set up in there which could devalue the box, like MCaB or Ballista or Swashbuckle.
That is true. Making them tied to extra but harder achievements would be a more viable solution I'd think. I'd just like it to be possible rather than "welp you have one use of an item with multiple purposes, have fun deciding which you want forever!"
All good! I do chat more in the Discord than I do here (I'm on Discord quite often for some other communities, so it's easy for me to quickly swing by the Subeta server and say something), but I make sure that anything important gets posted on the site as well. If I ever forget, anyone should feel free to remind me!
