I’m struggling to get forums to be nice on Mobil but i am having issues clearing my completed infection skin off. In my skin tab it shows clear and I can even put a random skin on and they both show up. But I can’t get a new infection or make it stop being visible on my HA. Help? Have done the usual clearing cache and logging in and out a few times. 😬 I don't know if this is a "create a ticket" moment or just post here moment.
Hmm. Have you tried a different browser?
If you have the skin, but it's saying you would need to 'cure', you could try doing that and filing for reimbursement for the sP.

I tried a bunch of things but it didn't work. Waited a few hours and now it does. I think maybe the strain was saying it was finished but perhaps Gunner was lagging at recognizing that. In any case, it's resolved for now! Thank you. :)

I did, I edited my comment. I got the sP taken and it said I'd get the infection I picked but I haven't got an alert I've been infected? Is it an error or is it really taking this long to be paired/infected?
It can take a while. If you get bites for your chosen virus, that will speed it up.

if you go to the Survival section of the forums you can post in the “Bite Me” thread to get bitten by somebody with the same strain as you!

It looks like you're not signed up. Go to the Voluntary Infection Program and sign up for 'Happy', then go request bites in the Survival forums (as said above). You can't be bitten if you haven't signed up. c:

So I unlocked Escargloom last night, cleared my skin, and chose the paid VIP option to get a new virus right away that I don't have yet. Which should have given me Gummy Squirm because I have the other 3. However, when I logged back in today, I have stage 3 of Escargloom.
I put in a ticket, but I thought I should post here as well. Not sure if I should just get rid of it or wait for a reply. T-T So much progression time wasted, big sad.
Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure the only way to avoid getting a strain you already have is to choose a specific one. From the Survival FAQ:
A: Choosing this will grant you the first stage of a new strain. You still have to progress through the rest of the stages normally. It will not advance your current infection if you&;ve signed up for another one first.
Note: You can get a strain that you already have with this option. This is not a bug.
