-nods- it's more rural. There are parts all around us that are farmland, solar farms or even orchards. We lived here when we first moved to GA when my dad was stationed here from Germany, Then dad retired and we moved to atlanta and then moved back here. It's okay. It's slower. Some shops are smaller so it makes it harder for me to find things and we moved right before Covid hit so I really don't know anyone--makes the isolation a bit harder. That's why I was looking for more friends online. She's doing well, i think. I think if she's doing fine tomorrow, then I'll put her back on her normal diet Sunday

I'm so sleepy though. Not sure why but I haven't been sleeping lately. Plus, after eating and drinking so much today I'm ready. :-D And barf - peach schnapps! I couldn't eat peaches for most of my life after getting sick on peach schnapps when I was young and I still remember it and have only started eating peaches again in the last few years. Beware! ;-) :-P Happy New Year!!!

I'm so glad you're feeling better! We're supposed to get more snow! Ugh! But at least it's warming up so it shouldn't stick. That's got to be rough moving there when you did! I hope you'll find some new real friends soon! Solar farms in GA makes me chuckle. Not sure why but maybe because my memories of GA is not of anything at all progressive. Stores around here are out of lots of things too. Can't find any lactose free milk for Liz and several other foods are hard to find too. Happy New Year!!

ugh sorry. it really has been tough. to be honest, I'm not really sure how. I don't party so bars aren't my thing... lol don't know where to meet people anymore. oh yeah we've got so many spot shortages it's hard to do shopping and just when you think you're done, you get a notice that that new new store is out of 4 more things :/ Happy new year <3

Oh noooo!! Not the peach schnapps 😂 I only had half a drink. My mom got the orange juice with pineapple in it, and it kinda ruined the taste for me. Then I had a few sips of champagne and called it a night lol We watched the NYC ball drop, which we do every year and omg it was GARBAGE! Rusty told me they almost canceled it and honestly. They should’ve. They did no shows or anything. And the hosts were so awkward and cringy and didn’t know what the hell they were doing. It was so bad >_< I hope you got some good sleep <3 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
