So the free shop is supposed to open today and close on Saturday. Figures, I have to go back to work tomorrow and will be at work all week. Then again I never get any WL items, usually just junk from that shop. So good luck to everyone, I hope you can get some good stuff. Also see that the ridiculous pirate shop opens tomorrow. Since everything there sells out immediately except for the cheap items I don't usually bother and just WL the items I want. Hope they have some nice new items this year. Still have a buddy GA to give out if any Sharks need one.

So the pirate shop is open. Don't know why I bother wasting my time since I almost never see anything I want and when I do it's gone before I can click. Stupid useless shop. I'm just glad I see almost no new pirate items that I want, just the books. "Restocked Now! There are no items stocked" I've only seen something in there 1 time & it was gone before I could click. They really need to stock this shop. It's no fun, it's just annoying & frustrating. :(

I agree about the pirate shop. I've gotten one item from that and really that was just luck. I seen items and just clicked on something. I didn't even look to see what it was. It just happened to be something that I didn't already have. I did get two wishlist items from doing quests so that was something.

As for the free shop, I have gotten a handful of wishlist items. I was lucky enough to not be too busy today at work and was able to hit the free shop pretty often. I didn't do anything more than grab my phone and click on an item before sitting my phone back down. I just had to be careful to not be caught playing on my phone. Since I use my phone to listen to audiobooks while I'm working if someone seen me on my phone they would probably think I was pausing the book or something. By the time I got home and looked at my inventory I had about 50 items in there. Most of the items were low end things that sell for under 10k, but a few were really great picks. I got a Mardi Gras King Crown which is retired and needed as part of an achievement. It sells for over 16M. Since I didn't already have it in my wardrobe I loved getting that. Another high end item was the Hunger Pendant which can be bought from the Antique Shop for over 20M. Both of those items I did not own and probably wouldn't have bought them for myself since they were so expensive. So the free shop is giving me a chance to get some items that I wouldn't be able to get otherwise....even if I do have to grab tons of things in order to get those few gems. I just hope the rest of this week and work will continue to allow me to grab stuff.

You have a lot better luck than I do. I see other people getting WL items from the free shop but I never have, all I get it cheap junk. And I still haven't seen anything in the pirate shop except once & they were gone immediately. These events should be fun, not annoying.

It's not too hard for me to get things that are on my wishlist since I have way too many things on my wishlist. I am a bit of a hoarder and want to try to get as much of all the collections done as possible. I want to pretty much have one of everything. :P Since I know that's not possible I'm willing to settle for one of everything that it's possible to get. So basically I work on getting all of the R1-R99 items since those are the easiest possible to get. As for anything else, I try for things that it just takes a bit of work to get such as event items, holiday shop items, etc. I know I will never be able to get all the cash shop items and stuff, so the only wardrobe cash shop items on my wishlist are things I really like. Those tend to be dresses and stuff since I really like different gowns, dresses, and skirts.

Hopefully you have better luck at some point with the free shop. I know several people that have the same luck of not really getting anything worth more than a few k. I'm lucky enough to get at least one or two really nice items a day. The plus is if it's something I already have I can put it in my vault for Luminaire gifts for others.

I've gotten a couple valuable items from the free shop but I never get a WL item like I see other people get. And I've gotten zero from the pirate shop. I've only seen something in there twice & it was all gone before I could click. Stupid shop. They really need to stock it decently. It also doesn't help that I work full time and have to get up early so I have very little time to check the shop. Darn. Wanted some of those books.

I work full time also. I get up at 6 am, get ready, and then head to work. I don't walk back in the door in the evening until after 6pm. Then of course I have to cook and eat dinner before getting time to get online. I get from that time until around 9 or 10pm when I need to head to bed to start all over again. I never really get on Subeta while at work, but I have been clicking the free shop throughout the day the past couple days so that I have more of a chance to get things. I was able to grab around 30 items today. I just refresh the shop on my phone and click something. I never even look to see what I get until I get home in the evening. I have a desk job so I can get away with doing that every now and then as long as I'm not seen playing on my phone or anything. I haven't really had much luck in the pirate shop. I have even tried just sitting on the page and refreshing nonstop. Everyone is just too quick for me.

Yeah, I get up about 5:30 and have a little time to play Subeta while having my coffee, then a short lunch break when I go home for lunch and then after dinner in the evening. Right now the Subeta midnight for me is 9:00 but after November it will go back to 10:00 again so I'll have to stay up an hour later. I can't do Subeta at work.

I'm lucky enough to have a bit of leeway at work. I just make sure to never take advantage of it. I am able to sit and listen to audiobooks while working all day. I know some people take advantage of the situation and don't get their work done as quickly as they could because they are playing on their phone. I basically just work all day. I go in early and start working even though I can't officially clock in until 8:30am...which means they get 30-45 minutes of free work out of me in the mornings. I also tend to each lunch at my desk and work while I eat...so I don't feel too guilty trying to do the free shop when it's available and during some other special events like trick or treating during moristide.

Congrats. That is a great pick. My best item for today was a July 2006 Donation Present. I haven't figured out what I'm going to get from it yet though. I just put it in my vault for now.

By the way I think I give up on the maddening pirate shop. Get better pirate stuff from Carl quests. Just got 1 of the books on my WL from Carl. :)

Congrats on getting the book from Carl. I've gotten more from Carl than from the pirate shop myself. At this point I just refresh the shop page when it's time to grab another item from the Free Shop. If I see something in the shop, I try for it, if not then I just go on with what I was doing.

I'm getting better items from Carl. Only got maybe 2 things from the ridiculous pirate shop, 1 was an old item not even worth what I paid & neither was anything I wanted. Sure wish they would make this event fun by stocking decently instead of frustrating.

Ok. Broke down and did Carl's quest. Didn't get too much interesting stuff - more food from the quest items over the quest rewards, though they'll sell decently - but OH the lag holy shite the lag's so bad. Wow!

Also - the Freyalise shop? i've seen items in it maybe once, never been able to actually buy anything. Smdh.

Yeah, unfortunately the pirate shop is a joke and only good for the few people who can actually get something. It's ridiculous and they really need to change it to stock more. They said the ocean machine gives out pirate stuff when the shop is open but I tried and only got junk. And wow the lag is a lot worse.

I'm doing Carl's Quests when I remember and I have given up on the Pirate Shop. I'm just gonna troll the user shops for the items I want and leave the more expensive items on my WL for now.

Also I don't really like the pirate shop, but I do manage to get a few pieces every now and then. It seems to restock roughly every 5 minutes, so when it gets to 5 since last restock I sit there and hit refresh for a minute until I can grab a piece.
