I've bought all of the wearables so far. I have also finished getting the books, stickers, plushies, beanbags, etc. The only thing that I have left to do is get food. I'm mainly just going to start with whatever I need for achievements first and then go from there.

Well good luck, hope you can get what you need. I don't bother with non wearables and only saw a few things I wanted. Hope you can get everything.

You tossed your Kumos Muzzle into the rift and a moment of calm is followed by a flash of red lightning, before the rift shoots out Discarded Rift Horns!

Oh and Bluff is still broken. Not a big deal, I just miss playing it for a chance to get old TOT items. Wow this is a boring "holiday".

Hi Sharks!

I've been missing in action for a while - between working full-time, spending a weekend in the city for an Orville Peck concert, and now being down with covid I've been a bit busy.

The positive news is that the Orville concert was /amazing/, I was front and centre and he handed me a rose!!! I also got one of the setlists which is exciting - it's going to join my setlist from The Cure that I have framed.

Hello everyone. I am a good friend of Emilymae’s. She has been offsite for a while now because she is sick. She has asked me to say hello to you all and let you know that she is in the hospital for tummy troubles and will be back as soon as she can!

UGH I'm sorry. Here's hoping the worst of it is almost done. hugs

I had Covid back in April and for the first 3 days I felt like death, but the day I tested positive, I had started feeling better. Mucinex was the best thing ever. I'm more nervous about catching the newest variant right before school starts. We are planning a Washington, D.C. trip. I told my husband and kids, everyone that we will be masking when we visit the museums and testing when we get back.

Still have a GA to give out, no Sharks need one?

Edit: Sorry to hear about Emilymae, hope she gets better soon. "Users Online: 84" Wow, I don't remember seeing this few people on for a long time. Guess maybe this holiday is a bit too boring.

I hope you feel better soon o.O it's taken me about 3 months to find the time to sit down at my computer for more than 5 minutes-solo parenting is rough. So sorry I've been MIA for so long. Thank you so much for the 2 buddy GA's. I put them to use as best as I could. The job scenario was crazy. I had my doubts about the previous job because there were things that just didn't make sense and Chris took a pay cut. This new job is better but Chris is still having to go out of state every other week. I wish he no longer had to work in a different state because William now knows when dad doesn't come home and those weeks alone are rough. We were doing pretty good with naps for a while, now he fights naps or sleeps for 45 minutes. There have been a few times I've been able to nap while he naps and we've gotten a good 2-hour nap together. Before William was born, I had about 10 totes (of various sizes) with baby clothes sorted by month and they took up a lot of room. I went through them once before he was born and donated the clothes I no longer liked, and have since gone through them 3 more times to pull out clothes that are too small. William is currently wearing 6-9 month clothes and some 12 and 18-month clothes. Right now I only have 1 tote of all the baby clothes that I'm keeping (anything that was gifted, that I bought new, or that I just find super cute). I love going to zoos. We're looking forward to taking William to the Henry Doorly Zoo either next year or the year after. I wouldn't mind going to one of the local zoos again before the summer is over because William is more alert now and might actually stay awake in the zoo.

SPOILER (click to toggle)
It sucks that gas is still so expensive. It cost me $90 last month to put gas in my pickup and I didn't even fill it up all the way. Chris's car used to cost $20 to $25 to fill but now it's around $40 or more. Those Grogu onesies were super cute, I saved all of them. William was able to wear them for about a month before they got too small. Diaper leaks suck, they don't happen as often now. The dirty diaper leaks were a good indicator that he needed to bump up a size though, so he's now in size 3 diapers. I tolerate the bottle warmer...I got burned by the steam two weeks ago and I still have a mark on my wrist. I do like the wipe warmer though, I don't have to worry about wipes drying out. I think we had some newborn diapers that had that cutout, but not many. We had to fold the top edge down for a while. And it took almost 2 weeks for the umbilical cord stub to fall off. The in-laws are very entitled and for some reason, they think they can still tell their two adult sons what to do. Chris's grandpa on his dad's side isn't doing well health-wise so we were told that we needed to go visit him so he can see his great-grandchildren before he dies.....except we already had to visit him last year because his health wasn't good and 'he doesn't have much longer'. We haven't made the 2-hour drive to visit him yet. BIL and SIL hosted D&D in June, MIL brought a box of size 2 diapers for us to split, assuming that both were still in size 2's (I never opened them and ended up donating them to the local food bank). She brought 2 onesies that were too small and a gift bag full of clothes that were for 18 months and up and had a set of fancy silverware. Also during that visit, she insisted on taking care of BIL/SIL's son (we left William at home with my mom), including feeding him (didn't follow instructions about leaving a 1/2 oz in the bottle), never let him relax while holding him, and picked him up while he was napping and ended up waking him up. She was so upset that she couldn't get him to settle down and stop crying, but he stopped when he was held by his mom. That same day, FIL made a comment that he wasn't sharing his grandson until grandma got there. Needless to say, when we hosted last month, Chris and I decided no one was holding William but us and since we were both there, no one else needed to feed him or change his diaper. That plan was further cemented when William decided to try and pull an all-nighter. MIL had shown up late and the first thing out of her mouth was that she was sad and almost cried when she was told her other grandson wouldn't be there......way to make it obvious that there's a favorite. Beginning of June Chris had 2 weeks of AT, his mom messaged me and told Chris that she would be available to help with William but the offer came after I had shared a post on FB about how people visiting new moms should offer to help them out instead of showing up to just hold the baby. Every example MIL gave of how she would help was in that FB post, so I declined the offer (it didn't feel genuine) and have since muted her and FIL on messenger. MIL also asked Chris in June if she could stop by and visit with her sister and dad while they were on their way to a family gathering. Chris told her to ask me and let me know when it would happen....she never asked me and Chris was rather pissed that she didn't because that prevented 2 other people from seeing William. And my FIL is constantly going to BIL/SIL's to spend time with their son but never stops by to visit us and we're only 40 minutes away. D&D is definitely more fun in person. Chris and I play online once a week and I'm about to quit that game because it just isn't fun and the DM is not following the rules of the game for his side. It certainly feels like Chris's parents view me as an incubator. Even before Willaim was born, they never once wanted to discuss my family's cattle operation that I help with whereas Chris's grandpa (on his mom's side) and an uncle ask me about how things are going every time we see each other. It will be interesting to see how Thanksgiving and Christmas go this year for the in-laws. I have zero plans to travel to their place and I highly doubt MIL is going to allow anyone else to host again. Now when William cries/shrieks for what feels like forever, it's because he's fighting sleep and doing whatever he can to resist the nap. MIL wants to play mom, that's how she envisions her role as grandma (I was so proud when Chris came to this realization himself). I, however, am the evil DIL standing in her way of being able to play mom to both grandsons. I hope you are starting to feel better. I've been dealing with a migraine since Sunday and I finally got rid of it today. I can relate to letting things pile up...I currently have about 2 months worth of clean laundry piled up on the dryer because I only have time to freely do things in the evening when William is asleep, but he's asleep in our bedroom so I can't turn on a light to put things away.
We are still having a hard time finding formula. A few weeks ago I was able to buy 4 large cans at Dillon's, so we are good for at least a month maybe a month and a half. I have three coupons from Similac for $30 off formula, so hopefully, I'll find a large can of that brand in stock before the coupons expire in September. Two local grocery stores haven't been stocking their generic brand and I keep forgetting to check the other local store. Every place I look has full stock of Similac's 12.4 oz cans but they cost $20. I had even told MIL to not kiss him but she did it anyway and then said sorry. Pretty sure she was only sorry she didn't get away with it. I always try to take my pills with juice or milk, anything that has flavor because I hate the aftertaste pills have. Yeah, I watched way too much TV in the first few months after William was born but I was always stuck on the couch or recliner. The tricks happen really fast in NYSM, there's one in the second movie that I can never spot how they do it. Still haven't watched Venom, I may have to end up renting it off Amazon Prime. The Uncharted games are pretty good. I've played through the first 2 games and made it halfway through the 3rd before I got distracted with a different game.
Sorry that my post is so long 😖, that's what I get for not keeping up for almost 3 months.

It's out and Dino themed! I love it. I'm going to get pretty much all of the items. :)

No worries about the long response, it happens, especially with little ones around. I've been busy all day but will come back to this and respond some more. <3.

I only got the book and background. Would have gotten the blond hair if it was longer. I like the torch, too bad that's not wearable.

What are all the components in the battle shop for? I think they go together to make something but nothing shows up in subetalodge as far as what to use them for.

Food trucks are open. I don't need any food but good luck to those who do. :D

Where is everybody? Guess this holiday is so boring nobody is here. Only thing to do for alegarten is buy stuff & toss things into the food bowl for a chance at getting an old item. They should have new items for that. Guess the next holidays are September anniversary and pirates with the super annoying pirate shop. Looking forward to morostide. They really should make something to do for alegarten.

I've actually had a busy week, so I have not been on here for very long. I keep meaning to add to my post above, but just have not had the chance to sit down and type. I agree. Alegarten REALLY need a revamp. Definitely looking forward to Morostide.

Also I still have a buddy GA to give out. Really, no sharks need a GA? I don't really understand the point of alegarten. There's nothing to do except buy stuff and I didn't see much new items to bother buying. So after the 1st day there's nothing else to do. They really need to make some kind of activity for this "holiday".

Playing the carnival games is worthwhile. Just got this from Bluff. "Surprise! You also get this old trick or treat item: Fake Gummy Pumpkin Spiders" Worth 2 million. Thanks Bluff.

Not sure why people are posting in the news about celebrating this holiday. How do you celebrate an event where all you do is buy some stuff. I hope they have something to do in the future.

Edit: Last couple years I bought some of the food truck items that were expensive in user shops to resell. But I just checked all the trucks and everything is selling in user shops for only a few more SPs than the original price. Basically just about everything is priced at 100K evenly. Guess I won't bother this year. Very disappointing.

HEY, just got home from work. What's with all the blank pages?!? Did the trucks crash Subeta? 2 out of 3 times I click I get a blank page. Edit: On lunch break & still getting blank pages. Took me several refreshes to get here. anybody know what's going on?

Hey-o! It's been a while since I posted here. I deeply apologize. RL has been hectic and depression has been a beast lately to where I don't really feel up to conversing as much.

Figured out what's going on health wise. My heart is all good. A clean bill of health on that end. I have a borderline normal heart arrhythmia, in which occasionally my heart rate spikes high. That's where my light-headedness and dizziness is stemming from. Also learned that arrhythmia's can cause overheating, which explains my overheating issues as well.

Qualified for assistance and my $1000+ bill from all the tests and doctor's appts has been taken care of and paid in full. Sadly, despite all the good stuff happening, when it rains it pours. I now have a problem tooth wise. Pretty sure my wisdom teeth are trying to come in on the left side and having issues eating and talkin. Lots of pain. A cough or a sneeze causes pain. I have an appt on the 25th, the earliest they could get me in. Hopefully it doesn't get worse between now and then. My face is a lil swollen on the left side of my jaw. Here's to hoping we will be able to make payments on the bill from the dentist as I'm pretty sure there's not much financial help dental wise available (I could be wrong tho, won't know until then).

On a lighter, positive note, thanks to an app/site I was able to get $70 worth of Amazon cards (surveys are a beast in their own right) and I ordered some beginner resin making kits. Hoping to get the hang of resin making to hopefully make things to sell to make a little bit of money to help ease things for the Hubby. Especially considering my health has taken a beating the past year and my doctors appts and bills have made it to where we're living paycheck to paycheck.

Hope all is well with everyone! Also hoping your day and week is Blessed! ❤️

Heyo! Happy to see you, glad you could figure out something with your heart~ It's always a pain in the ass trying to figure out health things, whew. There's always help somewhere, it'll take digging to find out who'll help with what, but community services to help with other bills at the very least so you can funnel money towards the dentist bills.

If all else fails there's survey sites to do 48573895787 surveys (and complete like 6 of them, lbrh) to earn some cash. 😩 gods know i've done that hustle.

As for me? Well, still celebrating my birthday (twas on the 1st~) and just trying to get through my own rain-pouring. The last week of the month (29th-2nd) every single day i have at least 1 if not 2 appointments, be it dr or psychologist or government, so getting that all coordinated, and saving up energy. (that doesn't work) Also running my own... dnd-adjacent thing, just had our 2nd session last night! (i've mentioned it here in the thread, a page or two ago... or more idfk i'm 'hung over' from storytelling, as it were. SIX HOURS omfg)

So... yea.

Hi to you - and everyone else in the thread! ♡♡

Hey everyone! Hope you’re all doing well! hugs

My son, his wife and her parents were down for a week (Aug 1-8) and we were going non-stop. 😝 Lol- I feel like I need a mini-vacation to recover from my vacation! It was awesome having them all here though!

Sounds like the concert was awesome! I feel you in regards to the full time job- mine started May 9th and I feel like I have barely stopped! Hope you’re feeling better- COVID’s been kicking butt around here lately. 😕

How’s your summer going? I would love one of your buddy GAs if you still have one available! hugs

Thanks for the heads up regarding ! I thought I just kept missing her. I popped an email off to her to touch base. How are you making out? I’m not on here near as much as I used to be! Real life’s been hectic! 😕

Sounds like you’ve had a busy time of it! Hope things even out and settle for you! hugs
