Thank you so much guys <3 I definitely had a wonderful day! My Hubby made sure of that <3 He cooked bacon for breakfast, we then went back to bed because we woke up hella early. We went to the park and then went down to the beach (which is located right next to the park; and the beach is next to a part of Lake Erie). Took some photos. Went to the store and got some necessities. When we got home, Hubby cooked spaghetti & garlic bread, and we ate while watching 'Freaky' which is a horror/comedy thriller similar to 'Freaky Friday' in the switching of bodies. I got two fluffy pillows, a Sims 4 expansion pack, a lilac candle, a purple thermos that has kept my drinks cold for far longer than they would without (I prefer cold drinks, unless I'm in the mood for hot chocolate/hot coffee), as well as a necklace <3 And my friends and kind people here in the various groups I'm in, helped make it a wonderful, special day too <3

It is Careaper day!!
Thank you! I'm sorry it took me about a month and a half to say thanks. Any free time I get when William is napping is used to get laundry done or get more bottles prepped. During the first visit with the in-laws, neither of them let William fall asleep while they held him...they kept messing with his hands to keep him awake. And then my MIL kissed him on the face after I said no kissing. She's not used to being told what she can and can't do. We went to my parents for Easter since they live 10 minutes away. I don't go anywhere with William during the week unless he has an appointment. He's somewhat settled into a schedule but it changes every time hubby comes home from training on the weekends.
Thanks! Chris wasn't able to take time off from work because he just got this job two days before William was born and his boss from his last job went crazy and fired everyone. Most of the time, William will only nap well if he's being held and I'm never feeling tired when he naps in the afternoon.
I plan on keeping these cloths and some of his baby clothes that I really love because I'm still unsure if we're going to have a second kid. It's all going to depend on how things go after Chris is finally done with training and home every night. My mom kept two storage totes of my baby clothes and toys, so I'm good if I have a girl later. The big problem with keeping baby stuff to pass on is finding the room to store it.
I hope you had a good Mother's Day! I spent mine at the zoo so I finally got some sun and a bit of walking in.
SPOILER (click to toggle)
I had been driving my parents' car to my chiropractic appointments but Chris now has a company van so his car is now home. My pickup just uses fuel too fast if I take it on long drives, plus it has a leak somewhere off the battery.
All his diaper leaks now happen after Chris changes his diaper. They really do, but they aren't cheap. I bought 3 onesies with Grogu on them for $12 a few weeks ago. The one that I wanted was $12 or more for 2 onesies. Totally. We didn't think we'd need a bottle warmer, but it's come in handy for warming bottles that we have prepped in the fridge. We also didn't think we'd need a wipe warmer, but William hates cold wet wipes.
It's extremely annoying! I would have been fine with her bringing size 1 diapers because William was only in newborn diapers for about a month. Even better would be if she would just ask what size diapers we need. I don't think they understand boundaries at all, I think they believe that since they are grandma and grandpa, they can do whatever they want which for them is probably holding William all the time. My own parents didn't even want to hold William during their first two visits because they didn't want to disturb his sleep. The in-laws want pictures so they can put them on their digital photo frame and also print them off to show people when they're out and about. I think they are assuming that at some point we'll let them post pictures on Facebook, but that will never happen. In the month and a half that Chris has been gone for job training, his parents have not once checked in to see how I'm doing (I'm not surprised-I cease to exist to them when Chris isn't home). Chris said his mom asked him a couple weeks ago if he still has to go out of state for training and when he said yes, her response was that it must suck for me. They also planned a family BBQ at their house on the last Saturday of May and tried to move it to Sunday because we weren't available to go.....we've told them we're not doing the 2-hour drive with William before he was even born.
I've been sleeping better at night now, except for the nights when I dream that I've fallen asleep in bed holding William. Those dreams suck...I wake up freaking out and feeling around for him. William only cried at night the first couple of weeks, now he just gets fussy and grunts. I did sleep through one of his fussy moments but thankfully it was a night that Chris was home because I woke up after he had brought William back to his bassinet.
I'm honestly not sure. He seems to enjoy the game more now that he's playing in person with us and not through a video call. When we first all decided to start playing, his response was 'ew, no' then he watched some videos that Chris recommended and wanted to play but didn't really take an active role in creating his first character. Yup, and then she made the comment of looking forward to watching both grandsons the next time we got together to play. Both in-laws kept up the creepy behavior at the wedding, staring and trying to take pictures from afar. My theory with the in-laws is that they really only care about their kids and it's an act that they care about the DILs, and they are oblivious to how their actions come across to anyone outside of the family. If they display those pictures anywhere in their home (especially the one that included Chris), William, when older, will question why mom isn't in any of the pictures. Easter is totally just an eating holiday for us, which is what we did this year plus sat around and watched bull riding on tv. William won't be able to hunt for Easter eggs until he's walking. That's been my answer to anything planned on weekends by his family, we aren't going because right now the weekends are the only time Chris and I get to spend time together and Chris needs to be able to give William attention without competition.
I checked the answer book a few times for problems that had me stumped, but most of the time I was helping my classmates figure out how to get the answers. I was shy in school too, along with being the quiet one that rarely spoke in class unless directly asked a question. I'd struggle with online classes because I'd feel uncomfortable talking and I'd take forever figuring out what I wanted to type. I liked the online class I had in college, the professor uploaded all the lectures online, so I just had to watch them and take notes, then show up in person for tests. Oof, I'm not a morning person either and can understand the struggle of going to a 7 am class. I did okay with state testing, honestly, they're a blip in my memory, but I remember hating any testing that took all day.
I am too, Chris needed to have more than 3 days with William. I've found that I'm never tired when William is taking a nap and for the first month he would only sleep if he was being held so I watched a lot of tv and movies. He's finally been okay with napping in the swing or his bassinet, but this week he's fought naps and I've had to swaddle him. Yeah, those hormones really sucked. I've had a few more breakdowns since then but they've mostly been out of frustration. He'll start crying/screaming and nothing I do consoles him until I give up and he either burps or falls asleep. I think my SIL prefers having her mom help her out over MIL, but she's too nice to refuse MIL.
I've been popping on long enough to check notifications and maybe visit the bathhouse. I just haven't been on my computer a lot lately since Vesnali. I hope you've been feeling better hugs
I would love the gold account. My current gold account will expire in a week. Having a gold account actually keeps me motivated to do my quests. I feel that if I don't do all the quests that it would be wasteful....so I do them all every day even when I just want to go straight to sleep when I get home from work.

I'm doing much better (minus the headache, of course) thank you <3 How are you doing today?
❤️[/font][box=#F6E3CE]
[/box][/box]thank you for the buddy account lovely!!
Also I'm rubbing my hands together like a villain rn WHOMST is ready for masq?!?!
Anyone feel like joining me in showing off and getting feedback on their masq outfits they have pre-made?
I had a lot of trouble trying to balance the red outfit in terms of not having too many different tones of red, or overloading patterns/textures - I'm mostly happy but I would love feedback. Also I cannot decide on the arm or no arm, I feel like the glove being white throws the outfit off?
Femme Masqby Kenobi Also I'm super super jazzed with this one, I'm in love with the lip combo.
Hey Hun hugs I will have to edit this later (or make another post) I have a pounding headache tonight. I can't really concentrate on much right now :(
I feel you about the headache! Mine is awful right now :(
Welcome Hun :) I am very excited for Masq to start!! Oooh all of them are so pretty <3 <3 For me personally I deff prefer it without the arm :) I love all of the colors! I need to make some new outfits. I bought a few new CWs as usual lol.

[/box][/box]Ooh, I love the red one! Both versions are nice, although I kind of like it with the arm out the glove doesn't seem that odd to me. But either way it looks really nice!
As for my own Masq outfits
~
This one is fun, but I don't own the dress and I dunno if I feel like buying it from the monthly collection, because I probably won't use it much otherwise. So this one was mostly just for fun for an idea I had.
And this is the one that I will actually wear for the event. Masq is not my favorite holiday so I sometimes struggle with putting together a good outfit for it, but I'm pretty pleased with how this one turned out, even though it's simple.
