Mine unsure about how this stiff neck started, just that it became noticeable after mine range of motion became limited. This morning it was less uncomfortable, but enough to need some painkillers to take the edge off.

So you don't have to have another vehicle right away? I can't remember if you are using your Dad's truck, or something else. o.O

I was wondering if you might have tweaked your neck/spine while working on/doing something. Continuing to pray that it will heal quickly for you.

For the time being, mine using his G6 for as long as necessary. The truck is undergoing a registration correction.

Mine appreciate your concern, this is a nuisance at best. The painkillers won't be taken much except when needed.

Have you tried some heat to your neck? Or ice pack? Or a combo of both? Not sure if that has ever helped ya in the past with similar issues.

Mine took a warm bucket wash to ease the discomfort. This morning the range of motion is nearly restored. A cold pack isn't something mine like.

YAY! So glad some warmth helped! I hear ya on the cold pack....yikes! I don't care for those either. o.O Anyway, I hope the recovery is long lived for ya!

And not a moment too soon! Tomorrow's shop we get another stab at transmission removal. Should I be assigned to a RWD, I'll have my 3 foot extension bar. And not being able to raise mine head can make the task difficult.

Ooh, mine found the place where my hens been laying eggs, the two larger ladies have put over a dozen, while the wee ladies about the same. If consistent, mine may not have to buy eggs during the warm season.

The stove is burning well, mine need to start the fire slowly. I think the outside is pressing down enough to keep the smoke and exhaust from coming out the pipes.

Awesome news on the eggs! We do love not having to purchase eggs in the store - and there is a wonderful flavor profile difference to fresh ones.

And I hope that stove keeps behaving! YIKES!

Today's shop was well executed. Though the class only had one car to work on, the group's efforts were within the time limit. So, transmission removal isn't that difficult, provided you know the steps.

Next week is open shop, and mine will offer my car for it's the rod job, and alignment. Spring break comes after, and the next assignments aren't due until after. No rush there...

Can't believe Spring break is almost near.....we have feet of snow and ice now, but it was over 70 the other day. Wonky donkey weather!

Mine raised the vehicle just enough that no one needed to look up much. There is still some tightness, but it's tolerable.

I came upon a sad sight today, while feeding the hens and geese I saw a partially mutilated gosling... It shows two things, the eggs the females are nesting are good, and that mine needed to take action to avoid a repetition of this. Mine simply closed a door of the enclosure within the enclosure. If the two can hatch more, this may allow a better chance of survival.

This next chapter in mine life can teach me to better manage my income. If mine can get a good truck to move around and work with will force me to live more frugally. If mine want to keep and keep running mine first truck, it'll require sacrifice.

Oh good! Glad it seems to be allowing you a semblance of normal range of motion. Sad news about the gosling, and hope there won't be much repeat of this. We did have a bit of that in the past, but enlarging their housing area helped in our case. They are free range, with the exception of night shelter, and that was where the problem was for us. :(

When such amazing things can occur, even during trying times. Mine see that as proof of a greater power.

Mine have a task for tomorrow, my oldest niece is practicing for her driver's license. Mine been asked to setup for her parallel parking exercise. Save the hard part for last it seems, Mine sister recalls her test, she skipped the parking by a mere technicality. The instructor had asked her to park, but didn't specify "parallel park". She did point that out, and got that one. Mine own was routine, Mine just backed up and positioned correctly. Mine never practiced or studied the steps...

Mine niece is studying under a course, zo will have a good stead to achieve this big step.
