I start on Monday morning. :D I'm going to be a personal banker, so I'll be reviewing loan applications, approving mortgages... and essentially consultative sales. People come in and need financing of some sort, and they come talk to me so we can figure out what options there are and what the best option is.

It should be interesting. I've never been a banker... or worked in a bank at all for that matter. Consultative sales... for sure. Client management... yes definitely. It's a different type of services though. I usually deal with tech-related stuff (master's degree is in Technology after all).

Ugh... I get migraines about once a month or every other month, so not a big deal, but it does give me some idea of what you must be going through. Not fun. And all my usual distractions from pain can't be used when migraines strike.

I've been playing "7 Days to Die" for a couple of months now and been enjoying it tremendously, hope your health settles down enough for you to play! When you do get around to it, if you have any questions about the game, feel free to ask :).

LOL for getting hoist on your own petard!!!!! The stupidest suicide I've managed was stepping on mines I knew were there...They weren't mine, at least, but I was using them to kill zombies, leading them so they would step on the mine behind me and I would zigzag around them...but I zagged when I should have zigged, and BOOM!

My computer just barely runs the game, I get lag but I've managed to adjust my play to make it work. I've only locked up a couple of times, fortunately. I've had some weird bugs though. One time I jumped up but then wouldn't come back down, I was just floating/flying. A couple of times strange blocks would appear, blocking doors visibly, but I could walk right through the blocks and open the door I couldn't see. Exiting and restarting would usually resolve the issues. But I did have to abandon a game early on because I would open the inventory and it would lock up and it continued to do so even after restarting a few times.

My non-hoard base has multiple doors, a ladder and trap door up to the roof, for now anyway. I think I'm going to build an escape hatch by digging down into the floor and making a passage that will open into a nearby lake, zombies move slower in the water. I debated making less doors to make it harder for zombies to get in, but they'd just break through the walls anyway.

Finished as of a few hours ago. Replacing my car's CV axle was both relatively simple and with a single mishap. I did bend the splashguard, which didn't show a sign until I was about to make a test drive. Just bend it back, and no noise. One bump was the step to fully insert the transmission side, which was to hammer in the axle with the axle itself. The process to reassemble the steering knuckle had one difficult step, torquing the axle nut to 150 ft/lbs, though the specs indicate 180...

I did notice the change driving home, I felt much less vibration on the shifter knob, and less noise when driving at 60mph. Fun times...

Today's shop was focused on rear drum brakes, my car served as examples. Mine was introduced to using drum brake tools, which is a leap towards making use of my developing skill. The class is encouraged to take an online certification revelant to the course. Mine will try during the next week.

I'll ramble somewhere else now...just talking to the walls here.

i am sure it is hard thinking of your moms passing and all that she is missing with your forward progress in your school BUTshe IS watching you and is around you. Perhaps you can feel her at times with the slightest tingle or breeze ❤

My daughter has Hemiolegic migrains..also called ministrokes. hey are so damn frighteneibg her neuro has her on several meds and an injection monthly. I wish she just had regular migrainss that she could survive at the end of it better!! I wish yours will recede with the frequency!!

Seriously late to this ping about the 10 ping rule, I don't think it's a "rule" but rather, the website won't let you do so at all, you can ping 20 people, only 10 will go through and you have to break those first 10 pings to let the others go through. I've done that over the years, never had a mod screech at me but may wanna check either way!

Amazing! I'm seriously proud of myself when I successfully change the oil and transmission fluids in my truck... Anything beyond changing tires or wiper blades is beyond me when it comes to actual repairs.

I wonder when Fireside will start... I need to get to bed super early to be well-rested for tomorrow (starting the new job), but a new holiday starting might make it hard to pull myself away

Just another cold November day to savor a bad mood...

Mine been in another accident, but mine not injured or shaken much. The other driver was quick to make things right by offering their insurance and contact information. I'll have to wait to make my accident report until tomorrow. I have about ten days to make the report, I'm told without this my claim may not go through.

Oh, well.. this car got me through some good times. I'd not want an inconvenience to put an end to that.
