, I understand, but i stop ping few users, or more than 5. I try this pings at the beginning of TOT and make a ping List with 10 names. After that I got a offic. Warning cause the space for this names, so the admin say, was to high for forum and not allowed. I was surprise, cause if you change your forum Post and is to big, you can't, the System no make it. But what can I do if a admin say it is so.

Ah, today's shop was productive! We spent this last intense session taking rotors on the Pro-Cut machines. The total student count was nine, four groups of two, and mine the odd man out. This however, was an advantage. I had no distractions while I made several attempts with one side (3), and within those I slowly got the bearings of this equipment. My attempt on the driver's side was more effective, only requiring a single pass.
Mine much more confident about the machine and it's workings, if mine were to try for certification mine may make the grade. I think a little more practice could add to my ability, though the next segment revolves around drum and parking brakes. The open shop will allow me to replace the CV axle mine ordered. Another pending job is under delay, mine offered to do the task at home if time doesn't allow.
Mine rambling here too, huggles seems stagnant atm.
: I like to hear about your work on automobiles. Though I have very little concept of the mechanical aspects of such things, I understand the joy one feels when work is accomplished and the enthusiasm for sharing your successes. You just keep on sharing what you're doing. I like the part about the new machine.
I do know about CV axles! One early winter day before Yule, my Author came up to Glen Meadow to take Weldon and me to his house for the holidays. On the way down the mountain, the CV joint on his 1997 For Explorer started making a bad sound. By the time we got down to Fresno, it was grinding and he almost didn't make it into the driveway. He spent three days on his back working to literally removed most of the driver side of the front suspension. While he was at it, he replaced all the bushings and the struts. I helped. I pawed him all the wrong wrenches at first, but I got better. I put all the greasy nuts and bolts on a magnetic dish for him and I held things. He's a good teacher and very patient, but I often forgot things. I was fascinated that the CV axel wears a rubber bootie. Let's just say that it took me three days to get the greasy smell out of my fur, but I didn't mind, I liked the smell of automotive grease...it reminds me of the good times I have had being with my Author and his family.
: You got a warning for making too many pings? That seems odd.
Mine know every semester come with its own set of skills to practice and hone. Everything only seems difficult or complicated before, but after some hands on it seems straightforward. I find that less complex machines are more difficult to understand, like two stroke engines. Tinkering with a chainsaw only gets me so far.
I can grasp the lengths of time needed to get clearance for a repair or part, the summer I spent with my friend dismantling an '88 Fiero certainly proved the process is a slow at best. I do recall an incident a few weeks ago in shop, the class was tasked with removing the master cylinder and vacuum booster from cars. One group couldn't finish, because the obstacle in the way was...the transmission.
And as for clean-up, mine swear by the idea, "Only if the water turn pitch black when washing, did you earn it".
: That is a great saying! My Author worked in a steel fabrication plant during high school and college as a break-press / punch-press operator and would come home blackened by scale from the hot-rolled plate steel the plant used in fabrication. He said that he could tell how hard he worked by how black the shampoo suds got during his shower.
Here's a useless tip...never Go-Jo a greasy weasel.
Hey, guys. Wow. It's been months since I have been on Subeta. I am so glad to be back and back to myself.
I went through an awful breakup in September and my anxiety and depression has been crazy, but I am feeling quite a bit better.
I am just trying to find out what I like to do and who I am again.
How has everyone else been doing?
πΈ || || πΈ
Long time no see! I was back for a matter of hours before catching up with . I figured I ought to come say hello to everyone else too! :D

For once I was able to give some educated advice. A friend asked about reattaching fuel lines, which to do properly requires a fuel line disconnect tool. Certainly better than trying under different methods.
I'd do well to research the process to replace a CV axle for my car. I'm familiar with general guidelines for this, but my car does have a specific steps.
lol so funny! Thank you for being so kind on my return board! β€οΈ

Thank you! And you're welcome, love... I've had so many of these returns from the ether that they're old hat to me by now. I swear... such a slacker!
I was busy with grad school... then busy with finding a job... then busy with the job... then busy finding a job again.
This is the tiny break between finding a new job and starting the job. This time, it is something 100% new to me... I'm going to be a Personal Banker (analyzing/approving loans, mortgages, etc). Never worked in a bank or in finance ever, but they liked me. π

That's so funny. I fund loans for a credit union! I totally understand. I never worked for a financial institution either but it really is such a great job! I hope you enjoy it!
What do you do with your free time? :)
πΈ || || πΈ
π Really?
I figured it would be fun too. It's really more about client services than anything, and I can definitely do that.
Ummm... movies, music, video games. The usual. And kdramas lately. I've been learning Korean for a little over a year now. How about you?

Yeah. That's really what I do. Haha. So funny. Small world I guess
I love anime and manga, reading, yoga and pilates, and video games!
What video games do you play?
I am gonna try to do some yoga before work this morning haha
πΈ || || πΈ
I meditate myself but no yoga.
I've been playing video games since I was a toddler (big bro had an Atari...). So I play everything really. I'm a bit over FPS, so I don't play CoD and CS and stuff like that anymore unless there is some new angle... like the Borderlands series or something. Or unless I feel like playing the original Doom, which I do every few years.
And I've never gotten into RPG.
Other than that, it just depends on my mood. I've been playing horror games for Halloween and haven't stopped yet. π

I use meditation to help me sleep at night! Lol
Oh, yeah I'm not a big FPS fan. I love RPGs though.
How has your day been going?
πΈ || || πΈ
So far, so good I guess.
I accepted a job offer... and when I woke up this morning, I had two more job offers and 2 interview requests. Nice to feel wanted.
RPGs are such a love 'em or hate 'em type of game. I just never got much into the grind. But more than that, most are fantasy-based, and I'm not a high fantasy fan. Just low fantasy and scifi.

That's so awesome! Congratulations! I hope you love it. I applied to other positions at other financial institutions but I really decided I love the ease of my job, so I am not gonna leave!
Oh. I'm a high fantasy fan and I love the grind of the RPGs! Hahah

I think I'll do well with it. I've been a sales manager and killed it with my numbers. I enjoy matching clients up with services as well. The bank environment will be different, but I think it will be a nice change of pace.
It doesn't really utilize my degrees, but sometimes, I need a change anyway. π
I don't mind a grind in some situations, but if high fantasy bores you, that isn't a situation that can keep me coming back like that. It's a shame there aren't more RPGs with scifi or horror themes. Something... different.
