- โข - โข - โข - โข - โข - โข - โข - โข - happy october everyone! for some reason this year, i've been feeling more giddy than usual about halloween/morostide. even if i'm only going to be handing out treats, i wanna go all out when doing it. the decorations, the candy, the outfit. i figured why not bring that excitement to subeta as well? i don't believe i've done any HA contests before so this is gonna be new for me, but i hope you all enjoy what I have in store! now let's get down to the nitty gritty of things:
these contests will go on all throughout the month, with a different prompt each week, all revolving around spooky szn. here's our contest schedule:

of course there are prizes! quite a few in fact. first off, anyone who participates in a given week will automatically be given a SPOOKY participation gift with 3 random items! some may have tricks, but most will be treats. ;)3 winners will be chosen each week. entries will be judged by me and i'll mainly be looking for creativity & cohesiveness. all winners will receive...

PLUS, during the event, for every week you enter you will automatically have your name entered into a very special raffle. you can accrue up to 5 entries, assuming you enter each week, and i'll be keeping tally of how many everybody has- 2 very lucky winners will be chosen via random name generator & will be revealed at the end of the month! the raffle prizes are as follows:

what's your favorite candy or fall-time treat? try to make an HA with it in mind! ex. items that are based off it, use colors associated with it, etc. this can be just about anything. think your fave chocolate, fruity candy, bakery sweet, savory treat or drink.my example: though it's far from my fave (i'm sure most might agree lol), i made one based off candy corn!

My favorite fall treat is brownies! I know brownies seem like a year-round thing, but I love making batches of brownies in the fall and decorating them for halloween or autumn or christmas. I especially love making ghost or spiderweb or mummy brownies for halloween!

I choose Reese's pieces cuz they are delicious, I know they are around all year but it's pretty common to make baked treats with them included during fall :D

It's hard to pick a favorite fall treat, but I went the candy route. ^^ My favorite candy is (Reese's) peanut butter cups!

Here is my entry! by Moth Based on Caramel Apple pops! They are hard to come by now a days and I miss them. I have fond memories of my favorite teacher keeping them on her desk in fall.
Also subeta has a shocking lack of lollipop items and none fit the brown/green color scheme.

For week one. My favorite fall snack is pumpkin muffins . Here's my sort of take on pumpkin muffins with that nice sugar crust on top. ;P
