Thank you so much, ! I would like to request the . <3
Several movies have been made about Janis, but I don't think she ever made one herself, as she died so young. I think Monterey pop was the only one she sang on that was released in her lifetime, There are quite a few documentaries and postmortem concert videos with her in them though. I saw her live at Winterland, when I was just a kid, in April of 1970. (I snuck in with a couple of my friends through the back door). She was only like 26 or 27 years old then, and we all dreamed of being just like her. Six months later she was dead.
But enough of that. How about a dancin' tune today? Get Down Tonight This is probably not the version most people are familiar with. KC and the Sunshine band allegedly loved Shriekback's take on their song though.
coming right up the 100 csc is on its way!

Hi
The song of the day is Istanbul (Not Constantinople) that I discovered with The Umbrella Academy. When you listen to this song you just want to sing and dance :D
My song today is Level by the Raconteurs. I'm a big Jack White fan, his guitar skills just kill me! (LINK)
Bonus: Here's audio of The White Stripes playing David Bowie's Moonage Daydream at some club back in the late 90's! (LINK) And yes, you didn't mishear, you can hear an audience member say "he sounds like a weirdo" before the song starts! :)
My song of the day is. [link=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVdPh2cBTN0]You're Somebody Else[/link]I always sing it. I can't help it. But It reminds me of hard relationships and going through changes and growing apart. And how scary it is to love someone and they change suddenly and not knowing what to do.
Nice and bouncy even if a bit discordant - Late of the Pier Random Firl Maybe it was only the sun behind the clouds making everything seem nasty

: That is a fabulous song! I love J. S. Bach and there are so MANY pieces of his to love, performed by so many different artists and on SOOOO many different instruments. I am especially fond of Wendy Carlos's Switched On Bach, but I could listen to Pablo Casales, Canadian Brass, Alison Balsom, and so many more! Great choice!
: You're good my dear, the Subeta gods will not "Zot" you, maybe a warning, but we all make innocent mistakes.
There is so much music! I get really really crazy about music and I love so many different kinds of music from all over the world, it's hard to contain myself and I get excited and post way too many songs. Today, I've been listening to Canadian Brass and Bach, Imagine Dragons, Panic at the Disco, Nirvana, Bill Gaither Vocal Band (gospel), Weather Report (jazz) Carnatic music, and Hayden Trumpet Concerto (which I can play the second movement on my little trumpet). So, I already have my choices picked out for the next four days...though it may change. And I don't need prizes, I just like talking about music.
this is day three..good brass!! nice you had 1 on 1 time with them..isnt that just awesmsome. ...tried several times to open yours i gave up will get back to it later it is one i derinitely want to hear. a truly deep and hauntung somg always..it was sifficult to listen to ..thinking of Rudy.~ didnt catch a song on yorus?/:) it is ok though. so you still sing this one today:::) theHawaiin music relaxes me and always makes me feel good..it is a miraculous place. pretty..does sound like Avril! i used to listen to classical long ago when my stepmother was around she was a music professor at UCSB we had a grand piani and a full harpsichord at hoe and it was really relaxing to listen to some hot chicks in there...and NONE of them needed huge boobs to get into the video..nice change :) i love dancing at the end :) it looks like the whole thing was set to llok as if it was taped over an old film or scrtched glass..interesting interesting new version..brings it up todate i really liked this one alot.. perky dance tune!!! aother white stripes fan here..yesyesyes JACKWHIET mmm i believe we may change deep inside and remain the same on the outsidedthough aPROFOUNDchange has gotten a grip of you deep inside. now THIS would be a good song to enjoy doing housewrk too.uppy happy song your prize is on it way..dont forget to enter again you may win more than ocne:)

Super Junior - Santa, You Are The One. love this song. one of my favorite Christmas songs. every time i listen to it, i'm ready for Christmas lol. ❤
hi ^^ today's song: Transatlanticism by Death Cab for Cutie! this song always make me calm :)
Theme to a program I like called, Deadliest Catch on the Discovery channel. It just seems to fit the wild nature of crabbing in Alaska. I used to spend my summers as a teenager with my Dad in Alaska. We would crab, fish, and clam dig off the shores for recreational fun. So watching program brings back Memories of summers with my dad.
