it's one of the openings to Soul Land, a Chinese animated show that was adapted from a novel (there's also a live adaptation as well). the song is very inspiring and energizing. makes me want to get out of bed and go do stuff. makes me think of the 7 Freaks of the Shilanke Academy and Tang San's blue green grass and clear sky hammer. :)
sometomes you just must stand your ground right?! ie baby..nice ..he sounds like Bob Seger in bits of the song. i cried when he died. I wished to see him in a small venue showing his lasted stuff..kinda soft ..not this as his latest stuff ..but one of my favorites now i keep listening and singing Absolute Beginners live version..this one is BEST i lovethat one i used to play that on my guitar..is such a nice tune to it. perfect sing along song..she made a movie once long ago beautiful relaxing one! oh i like the beat of this lot his voice as well! awwww sweet one the kindergarden cless played this song and they help up lyric parts as is played at my daughters graduation...from kindergarted..a timeless piece for sure. great animation..is what my daughter graduated in college to go do!

I love almost any rendition of this song, but I especially love this one because of the scene it's associated with. If you've never watched Crazy Rich Asians, I highly suggest it!
she's working in animation? so cool. i wish her the best in her career. :D
I love that song too! I've only been able to see the movie once but I loved the wedding scene. I think my favorite characters were Astrid and the Grandmother.
It's so hard to pick a song, but here's the last one I listened to. I really like their music. Survivor by 2WEI
When pigs fly, I want to ride one.
For today let's go with La valse d'Amélie by Yann Tiersen
It's from the French film Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain. When I'm sad, I'll watch it, the music and the film always make me smile :)
hi again c: today's song: i miss you by blink-182! i was ~11 when it came out in 2004 and it remains a forever favorite since then, just really love the way it sounds & makes me nostalgic!
Thank you for the Bowie link, I've never seen that version of the song before! He was actually the first concert I ever went to, in 2004 or 2005 I think? I went with my mom because none of my high school friends liked him! :)
my song today is Island in the Sun from Weezer. They are my favorite band and this song makes me happy. Plus the music video is cute!

The Willow Maid by Erutan; I love everything (anything Celtic/folk) Willow maid

Song for today Plantasia composed by Mort Garson
I feel cool because I recognised it being used in a TV advert for a trendy beer company.
- oops forgot to ping you yesterday.
I'm linking to "We Can Do Hard Things" by Tish Melton. It's really become a theme song to my own personal growth this year, and is the literal theme song to a fantastic podcast of the same name.
I rewatched it recently and was more emotional the second time around. The wedding was magical and beautiful. Definitely (unrealistic) goals!
:
Day One:
Recorded in 1956, the year of my Author's birth, Take Five
by The Dave Brubeck Quartet is one of the most recognizable jazz hits of the era
Day Two:
Oscar Peterson: in 1974, the year my Author graduated from High School. Boogie Solo
Oscar is probably the most accomplished jazz piano player of all time. He plays about 10 different jazz styles in this famous solo. Every note is improvised.
Day Three:
Rush. Opening Act Medley
I love how their kit is so compact ( they never carried speaker cabinets, but always ran their sound through the arena's sound system) that they decorate their stage with odd things like coin operated laundry machines and sandwich machines. Three words Rush...Best....Ever!!!

Late to the party, but here's[link=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-n-iqXTztVQ] Bathtub Mermaid by Mili[/link]. It doesn't carry a lot of actual meaning in my life, but it's a bit sentimental for me and I just really like the way it sounds
