For today (Wednesday), I am going to share my recipe for cream cheese frosting, because I love baking and it's soooo easy to make!

Cream Cheese Frosting by Muse

Ingredients

Makes 4 cups. Prep time = 0 minutes. Cook time = 5 minutes. Cost = $. Difficulty 1-5 = 1. Gluten-Free.

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened 8 oz. cream cheese softened (brick-style, not spreadable) 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/4 tsp. salt 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

1. Combine butter and cream cheese in the bowl of a stand mixer with the paddle attachment (or you may use an electric hand mixer) and beat until creamy, well-combined, and lump-free.

2. Add vanilla extract and salt and stir well to combine.

3. With mixer on low, gradually add powdered sugar until completely combined. Enjoy!

Aug. 4th: I love watching the animals and birds in my backyard! Some of my favorite backyard visitors are chickadees, pileated woodpeckers, deer, and black bears. :) I've even seen a fox a few times, but they are sneaky! They usually cut through the yard pretty quickly, and only around twilight.

Today I love "grown-up lunchables" aka charcuterie boards.
