I am back home from Sylt, my friends.

I can't believe 4 weeks are already up! Time flew by! I would so love to live forever on the island but prices there for renting or buying a house are VERY high, you need millions of Euros. So all we can do is play the lottery weekly, LOL.

I have still some weeks free of classes so no evening or weekend teaching for me until 4th of August. I have some patients to treat in the practice and online but only one day per week. We plan to go places in Munsterland since we don't live here for long and don't know the aerea very much. We start with a lake cruise on Thursday, tomorrow is my practice day.

Oh, and for the ones of you interested in the Vendula bags we had this contest about lately, there is a summer sale with up to 60 % off now. I pondered and decided for a Sherlock Bella bag. It should fit all my things bc it's a bit bigger and the color is nice for autumn and winter. You can even open the bookshelf for a secret compartment! It won't arrive until August or September bc the Royal Mail is on strike and so it needs its time until Germany.

I would have liked the Botanist series, too, and Beach Shack, but they are not reduced so far so I think I have to wait another year for them (which is fine by me, something to look forward to).

We have to do something with the garden first anway should it come to spend money, the four weeks dried up grass and plants and it looks very sad overall. Perhaps next year we know some more neighbors around and we can ask somebody to water the garden if needed. I think this will be more and more of a problem in the next years when temperatures climb and water will be short. Perhaps we should think about a stone garden or something similar but I have to say the kitties like to run on the grass.....
