Hello my friends and aloha from the island of Sylt! I hope you all are enjoying a nice and wonderful summer!
Since you all know I love Sylt, I really would love to see more entries for the Sylt Myth contest. I am going to extend it until we return home which is the 9th of July. As an extra prize, I am going to raffle off a copy of the next CW I have in queue at the time being amongst all participants. Looking forward to your entries!
And how is your summer going? Are you doing something special? Going on vacations? <3 I would love to hear from all of you! <3

I love the concept. I use mobile alot so I've never been able to post a gif since i don't even know how. but good luck to everyone <3
Hey! Today is the second day of my summer break, and I'm really enjoying it so far. I plan on going away to the beach in the Hamptons, and maybe camping in the Catskill Mountains. We're staying closer to home this summer because we spent two weeks on Jeju Island (off the coast of South Korea) during the spring.
How are you, and how is Sylt?

posting a gif is really simple! You won't need one for the contest, but I use them a lot anyway. You can just use the button above the post box that says 'image' and paste the gif address in there, or write it out yourself.
For instance:
looks like this:

I have a tutorial from Daily Item for posting HAs that you make in your wardrobe, if you don't know how to do that. HERE
Nothing special right now! We're going on a Mediterranean cruise in October, so, I suppose you'd say I have Fall plans! LOL
I think the difficulty is that on mobile, it's much harder to find the address of a gif to put in there. On desktop all you have to do is "copy image address" but on mobile that option doesn't exist in most mobile browsers.
No vacations for me, not for the last five or six years. However. Here is my favorite vacation from years past though: beach, pets, laptop, coffee and gathering seashells. [Outfit=1361833]

Thank you for explaining! This cruise sounds great, which countries are you visiting?
Yes, Zauberer complains all the time that he can't do such things, too.
We visited Morsum Cliff today. It is 10 millions of years old with several layers of different rocks and sands. Kaolin, Limonit and Glimmerclay give the different shades and colors of the sand like you can see in the pictures I have taken today. The last picture shows the glimmer a bit, it's hard to shoot a photograph of it because it is so tiny but perhaps you can see the glimmer. It is so beautiful, I could stand all day there, marvelling at the beauties of nature.

We kick off in Italy, so we're flying in a couple days ahead and staying a couple days after. On the cruise we'll go to Croatia and Greece. I'm dying to see Croatia. Those pics are lovely. Sylt looks very lovely and peaceful. :)
I can't even get into my wardrobe from mobile, so... I can't Subeta that way. I tend to forget that not everyone uses the same things I do. LOL
I was interested in that contest, but when I tried to do some research I got a little intimidated by the lack of references. So with this little push, and hearing others having similar problems, I revisited and posted.
It may not be my best work, but it did feel good in the end, working on something that took me out of my comfort zone!

I have never seen sand that color. Thank you for sharing.

That’s a nice round! Being in Italy, you’ll be a lot nearer to me than now, LOL
Oh yes, Sylt is very peaceful - until Sunday, then the school vacations kick in and it’ll be a lot more crowded. We avoid such places, though. When you really want, you always find a secluded place at the beaches when you drive or walk a bit more.
I think it’s more national myths and not so important for the other world, yes, haha. I am happy you participated! I posted the names of the local heros only because I thought this would inspire some designs. No need to be historical correct!
Strange and beautiful what nature has to offer. The island is very different concerning cliffs. There is this Morsum one, then the red cliff in Kampen, the green cliff in Keitum because it has so much vegetation and the white cliff in Braderup which is all white sand dune build. I love every one of it and try to visit each on every vacation here.

Jeju was so beautiful! We saw many UNESCO World Heritage sites there. The peaks and beaches were amazing. I really enjoyed the culture, food, people, and scenery. It was an incredible honeymoon.
I love your photos of the cliffs!

I am happy you had such an unique and amazing experience! <3

Using 's image posting tips to try and post a view from one of my favorite beach vacation places.

Edit: Well, my favorite view is when the dolphins go by twice daily. Picture is from a dune on the Fort Morgan beach in Alabama, US.
PS I can't believe how easy it was to post an image. head bang

Gorgeous. I adore the ocean!
We went to Hawaii last May... here's a pic from Kaanapali Maui. My son on the rock wall. The weather there was fun(it was raining that day), but I definitely have to go back.
Most of you know I live in Texas. We took a weekend trip to South Padre, our first visit.
Here's my feet up at the beach!
and the dunes, since you all seem to like sand....lol

Nice. I have never been there. Do they have a ferry? We used to take the ferry sometimes when we went to Galveston Beach, Tx or from Dauphin Island to Fort Morgan. I loved getting out of the cars while we did that.
