dang I messed that up, I have some calla perennials in front of my house. I cut them down every year in the fall, and dose them with the miracle grow every spring and they go nuts. They get over 4 ft too. Makes the front of my house look nice.

I went looking for a picture on the net, so their not callas like I was told. A friend gave them to me, the flowers are orange and yellow with very big leaves. They have huge tubed roots. Lucky for me, their the only flowers out front or I would forget to cut them down.

Saturday was a lot of fun. My son started doing his version of a doggy paddle between the hubs and I a few times before he got tired, but it was on his own! That's awesome about the lawn mower, I wonder if my dad would benefit from a mower like that? He still uses the gas ones. Adding onto the flower conversation, my dad gave me one bluebonnet plant. The first year it flowered and then seeded. The next year, 8 more came up, flowered and seeded, so I am hoping this next year, they will be out in the yard. My dream is to have bluebonnets take up most of the yard eventually :)

OMG yes the center ones with the leaf and flower color!!!! The leaves are beautiful I have taken close up pic, of the leaves, I love the pattern nature has made in them.

We had a memorial for Phalen on Monday it was beautiful we celebrated her life we told stories that made us all happy and some that made us all cry, we had her favorite songs playing in the background. The funeral director read a few passages out of the bible for us.. My wife gave a nice little eulogy and I added a few words about our beloved daughter.. We bought about 20 helium balloons and a lot of people signed them with their own little messages and then at 3 pm on August 8th we all prayed that she would get those messages we sent to her in heaven as we released those balloons into the sky.. the wind picked up for a few minutes which was awesome the balloons floated up so high in the sky we lost sight of them. I know my baby girl is watching us from above but I so wish to hold her close to me and tell her I'm sorry for not protecting her better.. I have lost all faith in everything in life there is no such thing as happiness while living so it must only come in death..

Yep, I like re-watching Lethal weapon series, Rush Hour all of them, Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, and Harry Potter series.

Oh your Dad definitely would if his struggling with a gas push mower. The bagger is also easier to remove and empty. Works on battery that you charge, and it recharges quick. I did my whole back yard, and put on battery charger and done charging 15-20 minutes(both battery and charger included). But when he does warranty registration, the mower, charger and battery each have individual numbers to be registered. I mention that, because I thought it would only be the mower. Remove battery between each use, or need to clean underneath mower. I have had surgery on both hands, so hands arent as strong as they used to be. This mower made mowing so much easier for me, and its so quiet compared to gas mower. Hubby bought it, I saw price tag and said OUCH! But the performance of the mower so far, I am a happy lady. Plus easy cleaning near the blades, oh you have to adjust the height of handle before use or mower wont turn on. I think its a safety feature.

Thanks to , I now know correct name of my flowers. She sent pictures here bless her, and she was right Canna Lilies. So pretty and makes the front of my house beautiful all summer long. Bluebonnets in the whole back yard sounds so wonderful and pretty, I am partial to the color blue.

I told my dad about the mower and he said he still likes the mower he has and wouldn't want to deal with having anything electrical lol. Blue is one my favorite colors and seeing it all over the lawn would make me happy :)

If he was my neighbor I would tell him, come give it a test run. He would be hooked. Love it, I put it away and can collapse the handle, and it takes less space in the garage. But I think you Dad is also hooked on the smell of the mower, which I totally get. Tell him go find one in a store, nothing to it. Put battery in compartment close the lid of battery compartment, and get mowing. take out when done, and charge to easy. No running to fill up a gas can anymore, or electric cord to not mow over accidentally.

He definitely would try out the mower. They are coming to visit us on Sunday, so I'll have to take my parents to Lowes and check out the mower whil they are here

get your Dad to try the battery compartment, and show him the easy of starting it. Push button and pull thick wire to handle bar. He might be sold, if his not careful. LOL
