Yeahhh, pretty much. My parents' house is in the woods too, but they have a nice screened porch so you can enjoy the woods without (most of) the bugs. 😂

She is! She's curled up right next to me. n_n My partner also has a dog, a goldendoodle named Quinn. She got to come with us, though. c: Peanut is such a cute name for a hamster! 😍

I love dogs, but they can be a lot of work! So it's nice that I get the benefits of a dog without as much of the responsibility. n_n If you were going to get a dog, what kind would you want?

I love dogs too ❤️ It's hard to choose, I like pomeranians and toy poodles (I don't think I could handle big dogs ^^'), but I'm also easily charmed by pretty much any dog if I visit a shelter, so I could end up with any breed really.

Hah, I know what you mean! I never thought I'd want to have a "big" dog, but Quinn is just so loveable! But when she's being stubborn, it's hard to control her with the leash. And she's only 60 pounds, so not that big. But if we ever get another dog, I really want a pug. Hopefully we could find one from an "heirloom" breeder (not sure if that's the right term, but someone who's trying to reverse the breed-specific health issues through responsible breeding), but I don't think there are that many of them yet, so it might take a while.

I wish Quinn acted more like an adult human! Even by dog standards, she's quite the baby. 😂 When she gets scared (which is pretty often, haha), it's not enough for her to go hide in the back room, she has to corral all of us in there with her. Good thing she's such a sweet li'l baby! n___n
