That makes me really happy that it's been so successful! I think it can be hard to come to terms with that kind of thing but the truth of the matter is that no matter how beautiful your art is, it could be perfect and loved by millions, there will always be someone who doesn't like it or thinks you should've done it differently. But the good thing about art is that they don't have to like it and you don't have to do it differently! It's for you! I'm glad you're doing well and I hope the move is going to go smoothly! Are you looking forward to it?

As of a few minutes ago, yes the repairs are finished. And the road test has shown the major problems are no longer present. The owner is very satisfied with my job, since this means she can resume her day's routine without the obstacle of not having her car working. She has offered to invite me to lunch later this week in appreciation. Also to repay a loan I fronted to allow the repairs to be done today. I've earned me both an early shower and a drink when I get home. I can also begin with my Lego project, not much to do on a bloody Monday afternoon.

I admit to not putting time to scribble out my simple ideas, some activities can envelope my attention and eat up what time I'm not outside or working on my studies. I'm more inclined to exhibit my works done in the past in some anonymity. Though some work is dismissed on account of the medium used. There is an audience for what I wring out, I've found some.

Good morning guys. ♥ I'm so sleepy today and also so cranky because of the wasp stings. :(

Yay! That's awesome. I'm glad that the work is all finished with and that the car works again. I'm sure the owner is really grateful to you and that's kind of her to offer to take you out to lunch and repay the loan! I hope it's a great time. Hopefully the drink was good too. :3 How did the Lego project go?

I am definitely happy to go back home. My parents just had lots of trouble because of work. My mom works in a clinic and the vaccination center and my dad is just hopeless with household stuff, so I took over most of the chores and the cooking. Unfortunately, I have to leave for some time, so I can catch up with some more difficult uni projects and meet my friends after so much time.

Wasp stings are such a pain! I remember, when I was a child, I got a wasp sting right between my eyes! I believe this is a day to take it slow! How are you doing?

Very cool to hear that you've found the audience that will appreciate your work! I do have some friends who will always hype me up, but sometimes the ego takes the better of me. It bugs me that I think that I need affirmation from strangers regarding my work since I don't do it professionally. But the current situation is very fine by me! I am having lots of fun and this site especially is helping me out with creator's block. Pets are such a good way to get the creative juices flowing!

I'm really happy for you in that case that you get to move back! I hope it's going to be a really easy move with as less stress as is possible for something like that. I'm sorry about the troubles they've gone through though. :c I hope they've either been remedied or they will be soon. I bet the vaccination center is really busy especially and it's so nice of you to go and help them out with things.

Good luck with your uni projects! And I hope you're gonna have a lot of fun with your friends.

Thank you ;-; I'm sorry that you got stung too! That must've been an uncomfortable and painful place for it. I was stung once before now too, but for me it was on my knee. I'm in a lot of discomfort, because in addition to pain and itchiness in the areas where I was stung (I got at least three stings beneath my clothes and then at least one on my thumb when I grabbed the wasp to keep it from stinging me there anymore) I've also been having bad stomach cramps and sickness, and a lot of pain in my joints in my lower body in general, maybe because of it? I think I'm having a "large local reaction", not life-threatening thankfully but just super uncomfortable. My sister wants to take me to the hospital clinic but I really don't want to go because I don't have insurance right now and it really doesn't feel necessary, but I have anxiety and so I'm scared. I took some ibuprofen and I'm gonna read and use and ice pack for a while, and hopefully they'll start getting better tomorrow T_T

I started building the model at 11:00 Subeta time, and took about four intense hours to assemble the kit. I was quite surprised about the articulation, everything I expected to see was there. A working drive train, functional suspension, steering, and opening doors, trunk and hood. Like any large scale model I start not understanding the first steps or how they eventually fit to make the finished model.

The character I'm developing was originally going to be given to a friend here. But they're inactive, and I chose to work on the character itself. I had intended to allow the recipient to develop a story for her background with some details of my own. I suppose sketching could inspire some fodder to fill in the holes of her story.

Hey guys! Hope all is well. I am still having a reaction to the wasp stings so I am kind of on and off for now.

Oh wow! That's a long time. I bet it can be super fun though probably right? It sounds REALLY detailed though and that sounds really really cool. Will you show pictures after you finish this model? :3

The process is a journey to the final product, more so for models of machinery. I'll work out a shot of these with some appropriate proof, along with what I have of the Dragon model.

I hope your dragon model is going really well! And any other projects you're working on. :3 How are you?

I'll resume building her on Monday, and make time to arrange a shot of what I mentioned before.

How is Mine? I'm quite frustrated from the complicated job I've been working this weekend. The broken bolt has been very stubborn, and my efforts to remedy this have made things worse. I'm afraid if I make any additional action to remove the remnants, it could spell certain doom for the car. The owner has already sunk several hundred dollars to repair, the end result could mean it be in vain. This "simple" task is in my opinion, above my ability.

It stinks...

Hello everyone! With life slowly moving forward again, I spent some time with friends which I really cherished. I am a bit sleepy all of the time, though which is odd, but it might be just the weather. How are you all holding up? Make sure to stay hydrated, haha. I always forget when I end up sunk into any video game haha. I also am slowly working on cool new pet concepts which is lots of fun.

Has your sting worn off by now? That stuff can hurt for days. What have you been up to lately?

I'm sorry to ask, but what kind of projects are you generally working on? This really sonds complicated and I'd love to hear more about it!

I'm an amateur mechanic, so some of mine rants are about repairing cars for friends. The last stressing project had been what should have been simple, a 1998 Mercedes ML320. It started with a broken idler pulley, then replacing a leaking radiator, then the ugly part. When the thermostat needed to be changed, one of the bolts broke off. This turned ugly when my efforts to remove the broken piece only made the situation worse. I turn to s friend who suggested a rather makeshift repair. Today me and the owner made the last check to see if the thermostat would hold. It did, and the owner breathes a little better, now that she can resume her commute to work.

Other days my routine is chopping firewood, or the perpetual cleaning of my house. For now I'm between semesters so I've chosen to try activities to fill the midday hours with things like a picture puzzle, building a Lego Dodge Charger, and now put time to build a Lego dragon. I'm also going to make some effort to draw, color and learn to use a dip pen. I have a full month before the next semester begins.

Here is the shot I took Adna is in the shot as proof, and my dragon's progress is evident.

Hey, guys! I've been so sleepy lately that I've been a little MIA but I'm working on fixing it. :3 I hope everyone's doing really well in the meantime! So glad that it's the weekend (more or less) too.

I'm so sorry things with the repair job weren't working out. Have they gotten any better, with that stubborn bolt? Those models are looking so wonderful though!

I'm so happy to know you got to spend some time with your friends! Your advice to stay hydrated is really really good as well, I am always letting myself get dehydrated OTL How are your pet concepts coming? I should really work on something for Bohnes who is my oldest and dearest pet because I've never done anything with his character like ever. But I never do. And yep! The stings are pretty much better, besides some lingering splotches that may or may not be scars? I scar very easily so I've kind of come to terms at this point in my life that I am never going to have perfect unblemished skin and I'm fine with it. The itchiness has totally gone and that's all that matters to me XD

I'm sorry to hear about your sleeping woes. I can also relate, I've been stricken with chronic insomnia for as long as I can remember. The only reason I can sleep at all is to be rigid with my sleep routine. Its so rare to have a sleepless night, that yes I don't have a plan of action for it.

Well, my model is making some leaps in its construction, I made a longer effort today. Though I may tear down the part added to try improving it. I'll want to post the finished model when I'm able to. I don't have a deadline, but this is in a far more rapid pace a few weeks as opposed to the decade I invested in the previous two.

The car is in good state, the owner called to report its good functioning. I'll make a follow-up call tomorrow to ask about its behavior.

Thank you! I think it will get better though. My doctor thinks it may be to do with my cpap machine that I use at night because the sleepiness really started to get bad when I started to use it again after neglecting it for like four years. I have to make an appt with a specialist to have my info examined and probably updated and that may help. In the meantime I'm just sleeping either not enough or then way too much and still feeling sleepy ^_^; I am sorry about your insomnia though. It is really a beast to deal with. I can't imagine having it chronic. Does your sleep routine help with it? If so then I'm so glad and I wonder if having a more rigid schedule could help me too.

I would love to see the finished model when you're able! I still think it's very cool that you work on them for so long. You put a lot of time and care into them it seems and I think that's great. I'm glad the newer one is coming along nicely, and also so glad that the car is doing well! That's great news! :3

I've had it 25 years, but have only been serious about treatment the last ten. What I know is keeping to my medication is key. I've learned the hard way what happens when I miss a dose or do not act in time to refill. I think a rigid schedule can help if your trouble is partially supported with medication, keeping your dosing allows an amount in the bloodstream. Even when unable, I can relax enough to not feel weighed down.

I appreciate your encouragement, and also to say I've experimented with my pens. I found the coarse tips allow my strokes to flow more easily. I look forward to using the shorter stylus, and working my signature.

Oh, I'm sorry! That sounds like it must have been very rough. I'm glad that you're serious about treatment though and hoping that you've found something that does work for you now. I think that I would thrive on a schedule but I'm so undisciplined that it's difficult for me to stick to it. How are you doing these days though? :3 So exciting that you've been working with your pens!

I started taking my treatment seriously after an intense episode of sleeplessness. It was a decade ago, when I was absent minded about my medicine. I ran out of all my prescriptions, which in my ignorance became a week of being unable to sleep. Only after speaking up to my parents and making an emergency call to my doctor, was I able to be attended for this problem. Almost immediately after I chose to impose on myself efforts to discipline myself. Its been fifteen years since, and as mentioned before if I miss a night its difficult to recognize that I may have skipped a dose.

Thus last week is slow for me, being the end of the month. Money is tight, and if not the heat keeping me inside, it'd be a woeful lack of said money. Today is good thoug, it's cloudy from monsoon rains. I'm going outside to catch up on my firewood pile. Was also spooked by a warning light in my car, for a few hours I was going through the various diagnostic processes. It's not a serious problem I think, the car ran normally after sitting those hours.

I'll march outside now...

[Edit] And I also another problem on my plate. My car's alternator may have gone bad. I conducted some tests, one was to disconnect the positive terminal from the battery while the engine ran. It died, so my next step is to research the steps and remove the component.

Oh gosh, that sounds so hard. I'm sorry that happened. But I'm glad that you take your treatment so seriously now. It makes me happy that it works for you! I'm sorry about the heat and the money issues though, and I hope that the alternator is an easy fix, or not the problem at all if it isn't. Please stay safe in the heat as best you can!! But it's great news about the rain and the cloudiness! Here it is super hot too.

My day was mostly good, but I have been trouble scheduling some appointments I need to make. But I was very productive and tried my best and so I'm proud of that even if everything didn't pan out. And I started writing yesterday for the first time in a really long time so I'm excited to continue that soon. :3

The rain is welcomed, being that I won't have to water my plants. But it'll delay my work, not just the alternator but also the oil change that is now due.

For now all my indoor activities are postponed until I resolve my issues. This won't be difficult, just lengthy.
