Im sorry. I'm freaking exhausted from grocery shopping today. All those spot outages made it so much harder even online. Then of course it's putting it all away in 100+ degree heat... it made for a very long tiring day.
You're welcome :D
:P
Ugh, that sounds like a very unpleasant day. I hope you were able to rest!
Hope you're both doing well <3 Personally, I need sleep.
today was just as bad.
I'm okay. I'm so tired though. -steals your sleep-
Noooo, I haven't slept much in the last couple of days to begin with.
I am very same in the needing sleep. I did get to see the new Jungle Cruise movie which was pretty funny though.
I'm sorry hugs I hope you get to rest soon.
me too. lol. Wardrobes giving me a problem now o.- all laggy for some reason. I like your ha
Three nights of no sleep, but then last night I finally got some.
I am hesitant on seeing that. I like the cast and it does look funny, but the queerbaitiness is annoying (but it's Disney, no shocker).
Your HA is stunning!
It was very good. Lots of carryover jokes from the ride. I was a little nervous but they don't really queerbait. I would say it's probably era appropriate in the way the queer character explains his circumstances (I mean, I wish they'd just outright have said it but...Disney). It definitely didn't feel like you had to guess what he meant or anything.
How are you ?
No, I get that and would be fine IF Disney hadn't hyped it up like they did. They bragged that it was going to have the first real confirmed queer character in the movie (after the Le Fou crap), when it's not really much; but then turned around and change their Love, Simon and Love, Victor from being on Disney+ to being on Hulu because they felt they weren't "age appropriate" ... For being queer stories. Basically ticked off because they pretend to being alright with queerness but then decide we're too nasty and need to be elsewhere.
How's you?
I did not see the hype, so maybe that's why I wasn't as bothered. If they spent a lot of time doing the same tired bs they've been doing (ie "we're going to have an openly gay character yay!" bs that they still haven't followed through on) then that fully sucks and is shitty and I get why you'd be like...nah eff them. I'm definitely tired of Disney doing this nonsense. Like...the vast majority of your employees worldwide are members of the LGBTQIA+ community. It's time to stop trying to toe the line on representation.
tired lol. But doing alright. washed the cat water fountains out today and put in the new filters. Cleaned the mats for them and put those back as well. Helped with the laundry and swept my floor in my bathroom. I got a litter trapper so I'm hoping it solves my problems with the cat litter Annie knocks out. Been working on the otter for my nephew today. Getting close to the end which makes me happy cos his bday is October. You?
Getting lots of projects done ?
They've done the "the first Disney gay !!" enough times now that people can make lists and they have to be super specific with it. Like, the first gay character in an original live action. The first in a live action based off of a ride. The first in a cartoon movie. The first in a live action television show. And they've really only pulled it off with background characters that they didn't hype up, vs the crap with le fou and jungle guy being hyped in snippets and press releases. They're the Mouse. If any company can get away with making a main character queer and get away with it, it's them.
