I really hope they're just trying to figure out how long they're extending this for because it's been a mess.

I'm sad to say that today I said goodbye to Amelia. I'm very broken-hearted about it. She had gotten more aggressive over the last year and attacked the cats a few times. She's tried to bite people and has bitten me. She's older and probably has a health issue we don't know of. I saw the vet last week and was given the possibilities. Well last night she attacked Maya and I honestly thought she might have killed her. I got in to break them up and had to get Maya out of the bed to check her. Thankfully she was okay--although very scared. That led to us deciding to not have her stay in my room overnight--she we think was going blind. But today for no reason at all she attacked another cat. It's passed the point where we can wait and see. So for our safety and the safety of other humans and the cats I ran out of options. The vet said he'd seen aggression before and the results were always awful so he said I was doing the right thing but I feel so terrible.

I'm so very sorry hugs It's never easy to say goodbye to a beloved like that, but even harder when it's for a reason like that. You did make the right decision, even if it feels absolutely terrible and heartbreaking right now. I'm sorry you had to make that choice and that you're grieving but I'm glad you've got the cats to keep you together and offer some comfort.

I would definitely give yourself some time to grieve and let the other animals settle back in for a bit. I'm sure that all of you could use some time to come to terms with it before you try to add another animal back into the mix hugs

I never got the Hex border despite hundreds of hexes. I also never found crook (and despite wearing nip the whole time I never got more than 10 minions total in hunting and only 1 of the special ones at all). I got the patch pricked border at least but...I'm just really irritated by the whole mess that was the event this year.

I'm sorry your net was out but let me tell you - it probably would've been the same even if you'd had it. The whole site was down for half a day the second to last day and barely working for the rest of the time and then no extension but not told no extension until the event was over and it's just...unhappy players haha.

I am so sorry to hear about Amelia. :snugs: I know you have had her for a long time too. For what is worth you made the right call. Your safety has to come first always. I know how incredibly hard it can be to say goodbye to our furry friends.
