You could always tell him that was a unique shark just for him - keep him occupied enough when he's not the HA on show, and he might never know the difference 😇 It does work really well with him though ;)

that reminds me, I really should get on and sort some of my smaller fabric scraps - I tend to keep the bits that seem large enough to use, as it feels like a waste to throw them out.... but you then end up with a very large collection of scraps that aren't getting used! 😊

That sounds very much like working with yarn. :P I am very reluctant to throw away any. :) Never know what you might need it for. :P

that's a neat idea :d I'd started making wallets from some smaller offcuts of fabric, but I got in a mess with the zip on the last one I made, so I shelved the idea again 😊 Maybe I should come back to that once I've got these joggers made, as that could help clear quite a bit of my fabric oddments!

Zippers does seem to be the most tricky part to me. granted I have never tried. :) I have seen some amazing purses made with crochet, tempted to try that sometime. :)

ooo a crocheted purse could be utterly amazing! :D If the zip sewing goes well, they feel quite easy to make ('normal' zips aren't meant to be all that challenging).... but if it all goes wrong, then it can feel like the most challenging thing in the universe to sew! At least they can be unpicked though, unlike buttonholes if they go wrong :P

lmao It's okay. Really flatout from yesterday. Plus an hour drive to get peaches and my phone lost connection so I was VERY stressed as I don't know where I am nor if I was even in the right direction. not the best things to happen when you're already exhausted.
