I love it on others, but have not been brave enough to try it myself. lol

haha I've always been one of those "eh if i hate it, it'll grow out" types :D plus most of it isn't completely permanent Got a billboard up for my Esty shop here :D very excited.
yeah, those projects where you have to knit for what feels like years before you see any shape forming, aren't my cup of tea! ;)
Hopefully the storms aren't too intense, and you get more steady rain rather than torrential downpours ;)
Shush, don't encourage them! :P

of course! :P 😇
ooo that's a neat HA today :D :D

I sometimes feel crochet is faster as well, not always tho. :)
Not been bad so far, but we will see what happens the rest of the week. ;) Hope it is not to bad where you live either. :)
That is true, hair is awesome for that. :D
I just saw your bilboard! Hope you make loads of sales. :)

I'm glad that's not just me that feels crochet is faster ;) Although it can be a lot slower if the yarn doesn't make it easy to see the stitches when you're working on the next row 😊
We've had some sharp showers, but not any really intense heavy rain. I think we've still got a thunderstorm advisory for today, but usually that means we don't actually end up with a storm :P

-snickers- that sounds like me. -hands out How to be an EXTREME ULTRA DIVA books to Paddy, Niamh and Alfred- 😇 lol so annoying
I even thought of shaving it lol but didn't want the look lol thank you <3
That can be tricky with some yarns, like working with black. I like that I dont have to worry about tension as much wehn I am crocheting too and you can make really cute toys etc. :)
Sounds about right. :P It is good that we are getting some rain so that it doesnt get too dry. :)
I like my hair long, so I rarely even cut it short. lol Shaving it would def. be out of the question. )

ROFL I don't think Niamh needs that book 😇 and Alfred just muttered something and went back to mixing something for his alchemy. RP-Paddy seemed interested in it though and sat down in the middle of the wardrobe to read it :P
I found it hard enough working with brown yarn (it didn't help that the carpet in the room is brown & orange, so the background to my crocheting was a similar colour to the yarn!), I think I'd really struggle with black! :P I struggle with crochet toys, as my tension is never tight enough to make sure the stuffing doesn't show through 😊

this was the result of RP-Paddy reading that book :P A new CW, and a new background item to go with it :P
Your HA looks great today, I love the little shark too :D

BAHAHAHA you're welcome :P what did you buy? the dress? Thank you :) hehe the shark's been on my wishlist for awhile so I'm pleased to get it. Though, my little elf boy, Kai is not impressed HE didn't get the baby shark
nods the dress was new yesterday, and the background bit was new from the Neugarten shop ;)
Couldn't Kai share it, or is he going to insist on one of his own instead? :P

Love the print on your apron! :D Great job as always. ^_^
:nods: can be very hard to see your stitches. I do love black tho for the look. :) Maybe a smaller size hook would help? Not sure if it would or not. o-o

Black crochet can look really good, nods
Ironically, that was with a smaller sized hook! It's weird really, as my knitting tension tends to be really tight, yet my crochet tension is pretty loose :P

Hmm, not sure what to suggest then other than maybe making a pouch (from fabric) to put the cotton in? If that makes sense? : )

that's a good idea - I'll keep that in mind if I make any other crochet toys at any point :D
At least with the sewn toys, there should be no gaps for stuffing to escape!
