I can def. see why people would be nervous to get on a horse! I once signed my whole family up for a riding lesson when we were on vactation, without them knowing. 👼 They were good sports and joined me to their credit. :D My brother woke up pale after having a nightmare the night before, he dream he got on the horse backwards. lol

It's muggy again today, but they're now saying there's a chance of thunderstorms on Saturday, so hopefully by the end of the weekend it won't be quite so humid ;)

She peed on the floor which was odd for her and the info on line was that she should be checked as perhaps it hurts to pee so she waited till she couldn't hold it any longer. And it was a good call as she's got a U.T.I. She's got meds now and is hiding. Poor dear. Also my brother has covid. He was sick on Friday and I guess his work made him test monday. But the new update from his wife was he passed out in the loo at 4.30 this morning and she had to call for an ambulance. He's supposed to be released later today.

I am sorry to hear about Carmen and your brother. :huggles: I hope they both will be on the mend soon. My mum is having eyesurgery today, retinal detachment, so I am leaving in not too long to follow her home. Well, since I can't drive, we ordered a taxi, and I will make sure she is okay when she gets home.

Do you plan to go all in with the quest-a-thon this year? :) I am concidering it for the HA border. :P Would have to store my sp someplace tho. I would not think you can even get it if you don't do every single quest, every single day?

I'm going to do as many as I can, although I did get both HA borders last year, and I didn't do every single quest each day then (I didn't do Sarah's quests at all). I hope your Mum gets on ok - retinal detachment sounds a very scary thing (I always get the warnings of what to look out for whenever I have an eye test), but hopefully they've been able to resolve it squishes

yep yep. I hope so too. Carmen got her meds again this morning so hopefully she'll be out of pain soon. Not sure if bro is coming home today or not.

Just got home, spent the night there and will be going back and forth the next 2-3 weeks to help with grocery shopping and any heavy lifting/housechores. The surgery went well. Hope Carmen and your brother is doing better soon. :)

The surgery was succesful, but it will take some time to heal of course and I will be helping her out with stuff for the next 2-3 weeks. No heavy lifting etc. :) She all of a sudden lost part of her vision on one eye, which sounds scary!

I'm glad the surgery went well and that you can help her <3 David was discharged last night. Carmen seems to be feeling better. She won't like me for an hour soon lol her next dose is due :P

I'm pleased her surgery was successful - that definitely sounds scary, especially when it happens so suddenly! Hopefully she'll stick to what she's been told, and not be tempted to do things before the 2-3 weeks is up! ;)

I can imagine if she's anything like my Mum, she'd try and claim it was ok to do things because "they're not really all that heavy", but hopefully she'll behave and not try to stretch the limits of what she's meant to be doing! ;)

For my friends dog, I just had it in my hand, pretended it was candy and she ate it. She was a retriver tho, they are canine garbage disposals. :P
