i've actually been really well. I'm more scared than anything! When i started therapy last year, I was planning suicide. I don't know if anyone remembers how down I was. It was bad. I've come a long way! And it's always scary thinking about changing jobs. I know I don't want to work in a lab anymore, I just don't know what I want to do. I think I need to go in a different direction, I just don't want my degree to be for nothing. i still love science, but lab work was never my intended career path. I never knew what was, honestly. I am thinking about teaching because it's needed and I can still use my degree. But I'm not sure if I'm capable of teaching. I'm shy, introverted, don't like confrontation, I have a hard time articulating my thoughts, and don't get me started on dealing with people! BUT, I never considered teaching before, so maybe I'm at the point in my life where these things can change and improve. I don't know. I honestly don't know what I want to do, and that's what's so hard. I still need to be able to work full time, and I am still paying my student loans off.

I'm needing to figure the life path stuff out myself here. I've really enjoyed being a SAHM these past few years and now that we bought a house in Kansas and I have the kid settled into his online schooling it's time for me to get back to bringing in income. I'm thinking of going back to transcription but I was never very efficient with that. Whatever it is, it's going to need to be remote, but I really don't want to go back to Amazon. Great benefits, horrible for my mental health!
